I will say Kyodai is definitely a must-try place if you live in the northern suburbs of Dallas.When I came to Kyodai, I arrived with expectations that it would be slightly below Uchi in Dallas but infinitely better than the ‘local sushi’ places that are nasty and have fish that tastes like Clorox.Kyodai’s ambiance is small and really emphasizes the sushi bar experience, which I love. Came on a Tuesday. They have tasty Tuesday with 40% off select cocktails and bottles. We did the chef's tasting which was incredible! Super fresh fish prepared with a lot of care by the chefs! Would highly recommend.

Very nice sushi bar; various salmon nigiris tasted very fresh, juicy and delicious. Hand roll, sushi roll and riceless roll were also good. Recommended to visit and try.The servers were friendly and helpful; they came frequently to check if we needed something else. The restaurant looked clean. It’s good to seat at the bar to watch the sushi chef preparing the food.Parking: Large parking lot with enough parking space.
