I’ve been coming here for quite some time now and for good reason. There’s no other banh mi shop on this end of the metroplex that is traditional like this. Very fair in prices for being Frisco as well.
Message for the owner: I arrived today around 630 to order my usual 6 banh mi. As you know, 1 will be free based on the deal. There’s a newer worker here that clearly struggled with adding that discount. The older lady here, in Vietnamese, was extremely impatient with her and aggressively showed her how to do it. She said some things that did not settle well with me. If you get this message, please talk to her about being more kind to your workers.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Plano. Their sandwiches are authentic and it is really difficult to find authentic Vietnamese food in DFW without going all the way to Richardson. This place is definitely a stable 10 out of 10
Parking: Weekend parking can be difficult but Monday through Friday is much easier

I ordered a special sandwich, the meat inside is cold and the bread not even warm. I Asked the Vietnamese woman; why the sandwich is not warm? Her answer was nasty; this is America not in Vietnam , everything is cold. That’s the CUSTOMER SERVICE AT MR BÁNH MÌ ; terrible,and that’s the reason why the shop is empty on the Saturday afternoon. Yes, you’re living in America, so you should learn how to speak to Customers.

We've been coming here for years and we a little inconsistent with the quality initially but they seem to have fixed that as it's been very good the last few times we've been. Our go to are the combination with all the fresh sliced meats and the grilled pork which had a good mix of lean and fatty cuts.
Bread is made in house and is a great texture without being too doughy or too crunchy. The Viet mayo is very flavorful and the pate adds a nice contrast. Prices are fair for what you get and service is efficient. Definitely the best option for banh mi in Frisco/Plano
