I found this Vietnamese bakery, Mr. Banh Mi, on Google Maps. The reviews were excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I ordered four items through a delivery platform, but when they arrived, there was a mistake. The owner was very kind and made me a completely new meal. The restaurant is very popular; there's always a queue. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back to buy from them again.

I need to return and try the Bahn Mi- I tried the daily special which was a chicken curry but there was just a chicken leg in broth with some carrots and bread. š¤·āāļø The egg rolls were great and the bread was very flaky and delicious.

I was very disappointed with the quality of my pork sandwich from Mr. Banh Mi. While the bread was fresh and warm, the meat was cold, tough, and simply not edible. I couldnāt even finish it because the texture and temperature made it unpleasant. For the price, it felt like a complete waste of money. Save yourself the disappointment and spend your money elsewhere.

Iāve been coming here for quite some time now and for good reason. Thereās no other banh mi shop on this end of the metroplex that is traditional like this. Very fair in prices for being Frisco as well.
Message for the owner: I arrived today around 630 to order my usual 6 banh mi. As you know, 1 will be free based on the deal. Thereās a newer worker here that clearly struggled with adding that discount. The older lady here, in Vietnamese, was extremely impatient with her and aggressively showed her how to do it. She said some things that did not settle well with me. If you get this message, please talk to her about being more kind to your workers.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Plano. Their sandwiches are authentic and it is really difficult to find authentic Vietnamese food in DFW without going all the way to Richardson. This place is definitely a stable 10 out of 10
Parking: Weekend parking can be difficult but Monday through Friday is much easier
