“Novel experience of piping hot soup with delicious ingredients. There are 3 hotpot options that can be customized to be vegetarian straight from their automated ordering system which was reassuring. Smaller setting, had more of a diner than a restaurant feel. Staff was super helpful in choosing menu items. We had the mushroom hot pot and would definitely recommend.“

“This is a simple restaurant with decent food that is pre-made. You walk up and see the food behind the glass and they put the food on a platter. There are several types of meat and vegetable options. We ordered some greens, broccoli, eggplant, different styles of pork, and a tofu item... and of course rice. The platter is a great deal for the price. The taste is decent. We also got boba tea, but it was already sealed and refrigerated. It's not made to order.

There is a complimentary seaweed soup you can scoop for yourself after you order. This is a CASH ONLY place.“

“Hakka is hands down my absolute favorite asian food in the area. My family is all sushi all the time and they love the sushi place in the same food court. I never argue because that means more hakka for me. Hakka noodles dry with a fried chicken steak is the way to go. Plenty of options for the non adventurous too, hawaiian fries rice, shrimp and eggs. You can't go wrong here.“

“This is one of my MUST visit Taiwanese restaurant in Dallas whenever my husband and I are in town. They have lots of good traditional Taiwanese foods, and the ones we have tried have been amazing! I'd definitely recommend it! Although, I am said to see that they no longer offer the rice ball and soy milk for breakfast. They still have other good breakfast foods though!“

“This place is such a hidden gem! I’ve been coming here for a while and always rave about their honey BBQ chicken nuggets — they’re seriously addictive. That said, I do think they’ve started going a little overboard with the sauce lately. It ends up overpowering the flavor and makes the dish a bit too salty. I also miss the smoky, charred sear they used to have — that subtle burnt aroma used to drive me crazy (in the best way). Still, despite the changes, it’s a spot I’ll keep coming back to. The flavors are solid, and there’s something about this place that keeps pulling me in.“

“Great Taiwanese rice rolls. Pretty good size, generous fillings packed with a lot of flavor. Great service & experience, very patient & welcoming, I generally get my order taken by the manager who is always so nice. I crave these rolls often, & would definitely recommend trying; there’s so much variety for everyone.“
