I visited this sub shop for the first time today. The sandwich had great flavor, and I can see why so many people enjoy this place.

Unfortunately, the meat on my sandwich was undercooked to the point that the bread was red from the juices. When I brought it back, the sandwich was taken apart and the meat was re-cooked rather than a fresh sandwich being made.

While I appreciated the effort to fix the issue, the sandwich came back overcooked, soggy, and not very appetizing. My disappointment was less about the initial mistake and more about how it was handled.

The flavors were excellent, which is why I’m giving three stars and may be willing to try them again. I just wish my first experience had matched the reputation that brought me in.

The sandwiches they were good I order 4 the young guys they were very frendly. But the old lady that wraps the sandwiches with curly hair was extremely rude.

Fresh ingredients including the breads. I had the fun and it was great. Just overall better than most sandwich restaurants.

This place used to be good (10 years ago) but last several times here the sandwiches where near all bread no ingredient sandwich’s. If you like bread loafs for a meal it’s ok but I’ll pass on trying again.

First time here. Great looking little spot. There are a ton of great looking sandwiches but I was on the hunt for a Philly Cheesesteak. Let’s be clear. They do not have one. The one on the menu is a roast beef sandwich that’s it. Cold toppings. Even “hot” it’s still a relatively cold sandwich. I’ll be back to try one of the other great looking sandwiches but I’ll never order this abomination again.

Laid back sub shop. Best subs in Dallas, imo. Customize as you wish.

I can’t honestly say *all* their food is good, because I’ve been stuck on their #12 Outdoorsman for the last 20 years — and it’s too good to switch it up. They’ve never disappointed.

I have been eating here for at least 7 years and ever since I started working in the area.

These sandwiches have the power to make your day better, I would pay double for this food and vibe.

Out of all restaurants in the area this is the only one I missed during Covid remote work

Ordered the roast beef with cheese. This was a to go order. The sandwich was pretty good. My only small complaint was the guy making my sandwich. I let him know that this was my first visit. He didn't ask or let me know about my cheese options. He just quickly pulled out the cheese and had it on my sandwich before I had time to ask what kind of cheese came with my order. He offered to switch the cheese, but I declined. The restaurant was clean, the staff was very friendly. I would visit again, but I'll ask about the cheese options before I order.
