Babyy when I tell yall I am so glad I came across this black owned BBQ joint in Frisco, yall just don’t know the half! Up until now, I thought Hutchins was as good as it gets but boy was I wrong! They DO barbecue, ok?! I’m talking family reunion/cookout barbecue! This was the three meat plate featuring the ribs, sausage and brisket. For sides I chose baked beans and dirty rice. I cleaned my plate! I was so shocked as to how tender and seasoned everything was! If you’re looking for quality BBQ that’s not boiled ? look no further! They are only open Saturday/Sunday at the Frisco farmers market. Early arrival is HIGHLY suggested!

I shared a turkey leg stuffed with dressing with my family. It was so good that we ordered a whole turkey and pan of dressing for Thanksgiving. My 14 year old nephew loved everything he tried and that kid is extra picky.

I got two brisket sandwiches with the baked beans with cole slaw. My husband liked the brisket sandwich and beans. With my first bite of the brisket sandwich, I got a mouthful of fat. Cole slaw was bland. Portions of the sides were very small. Beans were okay to me. We were at the Frisco Fresh Market. My friend got ribs and macaroni and cheese. My friend said her ribs were dry and the tiny dollop of macaroni and cheese and tiny container of coke slaw was laughable. The staff was okay. We will not be back.

I bought some ribs from their food truck for the 4th of July and it was the best ribs I have ever had especially coming from a restaurant. It was so tender and flavorful!! Definitely would recommend!

Better than anything ever anywhere. Ask for the Cajun Rice that he stuffs inside turkey leg. Sweet potato stuffed with pulled pork and brisket. Best brisket crust in Texas, unknown to most people.

The food and service was great. This was the first weekend of the month, so there were options of collard greens, mac & cheese, and smoke peach cobbler. Serving size for the price is great- we ordered the 3-meat plate that comes with two sides. Drink options include sweet tea and 3 flavors kool-aid of kool-aid. We will definitely be back again.

Now I believe in supporting black business. I went to this place for the first time this past Sunday. They did not have chicken . So, I saw the turkey legs that were priced at $15.00 dollars for 1 "plain". The guy said we can stuff it too. So, I asked did they have red beans and a little rice, he replied yeah. I also ordered a side of Mac & cheese and a bottle of water. Total came to $30.00 dollars. When I opened my plate I saw and the people I meet up with there saw it. When I say they put a lot of white rice on top of the turkey leg and like 5 red beans . I am serious. The leg was $15 if the stuff it , the price becomes $24.00 dollars. SMH. The turkey leg was old and bland, had not taste nor season. With a whole bunch of plain white rice on top. I will never , ever go back. If you do not believe me order it for yourself. A waste of a drive from Dallas. A 1 hitter quitter. I do not mind the price, the food and customer service has to be there.

This place is awesome!!! The portions are huge and the BBQ is great! It is a little hard to find the first time, it's in the corner inside the Farmers Market. It took me about ten minutes of walking around to find it but once I did I am glad I did. I'll definitely be back!
