Absolutely amazing tacos! She made the homemade tortillas fresh and it was delicious.
This place is run by two ladies. All the food obviously is home-cooked and made to order so expect quite a wait time especially if there are people in front of you in line. There is no indoor seating and you order your food standing outside. So if the weather is bad I would go somewhere else. This is strictly order and take home with you type of place. While the atmosphere may not be the best, facing a highway, the food is fresh, cheap, and worth a try. The outside window for ordering is convenient, although there is no wheelchair accessibility. The Barbacoa street tacos are a Rockport treasure that will make you fall in love with this place. Customers praise the homemade tortillas, super fresh food, and wonderful welcoming service with inviting smiles. The hot sauce is also highly recommended. Many visitors find the breakfast tacos surprisingly large—more like burritos—and filling, especially when paired with tamales that are full of meat and moist. While some dishes like beans and Gorditas may not always be perfect, the place is well worth stopping at, and people look forward to trying the cheese burger combos on a future visit.
