When we stopped for an early dinner around 5:00, and they were out of fries and almost out of rolls, yet it was a ghost town and we were the only customers when we came in. My husband had ordered extra rolls because they are his favorite, but it would have been an extra 20 minutes or more to get them. Since we were on a road trip and couldn't wait that long, they gave him an extra chicken leg instead. The food was dry (probably from sitting under a lamp for who knows how long, and overall it was just disappointing.

I’ve given this place multiple chances to live up to what I expect from Golden Chick based on my experience elsewhere in the state. This place is trash. The food is often dried out and over cooked. The service is horrible. I was there this week and stood there at the counter for a few minutes and no one came up. One of the guys was sitting at the tables playing on his phone and completely ignoring customers. The guys in the back were just talking away completely ignoring customers. This place isn’t worth wasting your time at.

I've been going to gaineaville golden chick for a long time but today was my last day. The customer service is absolutely horrible and the food has gone to crap. Cold and old. Gainesville needs to take lessons from whitesboro golden chick. Oh and there is NEVER any ice in their fountain machine and the staff gets clearly annoyed when you ask for ice. Side note, dont ask for cheese on your sandwich supposedly they can't do that either. Don't waste your time or money.

I don’t know what happened. This place used to be really good but they were out of almost everything and they charge damn a dollar each for extra sauce.. I could barely hear him on the intercom And not to be rude, but also, I could barely understand him. Now I see why this place isn’t as busy as it used to be.

Been coming here for a while to pick up food for my elderly relatives. . Today the green beans were sour/spoiled and the dark meat was raw in the 8 piece I picked up. Told them to give it to me and I’d return it. The last thing I want is for my grandma to get food poisoning because of chicken I brought her.Went to return and the guy I’ve never seen before said that’s because it’s not under the lamp is because it’s raw which brings me to wonder if they know they have to fully cook chicken before warming it? Didn’t give me a refund or anything on this cold raw chicken. Not going back. has to be new ownership. It used to not be like this at all. I’m just glad we didn’t eat it and got food poisoning.
Food is very tasty and the price is competitive and the customer service and the service is excellent. I recommend every one as it is a good place to dine in as the location has plenty of seating arrangement to dine with peaceful sorroundings.
