Such a cute spot! The Cranberry Melt was incredible — sweet, savory, and so good. I also tried the Birthday Cake ice cream and the Chocolate Texas Sheet Cake, and both were delicious! The whole place has a fun, happy vibe with adorable indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend!

Delicious homemade ice cream! They have lots of choices. I chose a scoop of pumpkin and apple pie in a waffle bowl. My husband got a chocolate shake. So very yummy! They have indoor seating and a nice covered patio area. Nice place to get a sweet treat. Lots of parking.

I happened across this place on accident, but it's quickly become a go-to for any ice cream cravings! Just disappointed I didn't find out about it sooner.

Super friendly owners and great ice cream!! I also love their monte cristo, its the only one I can find in town when I'm craving one. They have a plenty of parking, and are motorcycle friendly.

First time at Happy’s sip and dip and totally enjoyed my experience. I tried to Hottie and found it to be very good. Had cherry tea which was very good. The ice cream was homemade and awesome!!! Everything hit the spot for this traveling pilot driver. The employees were sweet as the ice cream too!!! I will definitely be back when my travels allow.

Tried Happy’s for the first time today (Saturday morning late July 2025). What a pleasant surprise. We are so happy to see a business like this in Gainesville, and hope they stick around and do very well. It was family/kid friendly with seating in and out doors. Outside has decent shade and water misting fans as well as a small kids’ table, and some games to play.

We spent about $55 for a family of four (two kids 3 and under) and were full when leaving. We got three treats, three sandwiches, and one large drink. Definitely could’ve gotten less desert items 😂 but we wanted to try several. The strawberry cheesecake waffle was served with the waffle actually warm on the bottom which made it extra good. Chocolate shake was a good flavor and consistency. All the sandwiches we tried (hottie, BLT, and burger) were served on waffles, and were delicious and fresh (hot!).

We can’t wait to return to try the icecream and make this a regular spot for our family.
