So first off I travel the US for my job and eat tons of bbq from all parts of the country.... I'm from the south and we love bbq and this place by far is the best I've had...i had the brisket plate with ribs ...has to be homemade beans and potato salad because store bought isnt this good... this is my first time at this place and now any time I come to Gainesville I'm stopping here...its worth it.

We were in town for a show at the casino, we stayed at a motel about a mile from this bbq spot. My goal was to find a hole in the wall BBQ place those are the best ones that have BBQ! I am not a fan of big Corp food industries. I love to support a true hard working American. I'm so glad Google recommended this guy, I read all his reviews and i said this is where I am going to go. Boy boy I do not regret this decision! This is by the best BBQ I have ever had! I live an hr and 43 minutes from jazs bbq and there is not anything good bbq place within in those miles!

Me and my mom just moved into town. We got told that this gentleman had some great bbq. We had chopped brisket on tx toast with slaw and potato salad. The Best food ever!!! Definitely going back there again!!

I stopped by this place about 30 minutes before they closed. I have been to sampling some of the local BBQ since moving up here from central TX last year. Based on the reviews I was hoping to be impressed, I was not. I ordered a combo beef and sausage with potato salad and beans. Brisket was very dry, if not for the sauce which was good I probably wouldn't have eaten the brisket. The sausage was also very dry although it had a great flavor, although it seemed as though it had been sitting around drying out. I usually love these little hole-in-the-wall places because they can be true gems, unfortunately this was not one of those. For reference I will try again earlier in the day and report back then.
