Read the reviews in Trip Advisor and apparently this beach is a bit of a hidden gem for the locals. We drove past Stewart beach and that place looked packed! Keep driving until you see the sign for East beach entrance 1. It loops around behind the condos but takes you to the free parking which is right next to the paid parking. Great beach!!! Not nearly as busy as Stewart Beach or the Seawall. We got a free beach wheelchair rental for our daughter, and she had such fun in it! No jellyfish, very little seaweed. Clean bathrooms, although they lacked soap. Outdoor showers.

Decent beach that's all the way down on the east end. I keep reading that this place was a "hidden gem", but I lived and went to school in Galveston and I always thought everyone knew about this spot. The great thing about this beach is that there's plenty of parking, there's volleyball courts, showers, concessions where you can buy alcohol, and there's an umbrella/canopy rental place.
