Everything about the experience at Around the Corner, including the service, the chatter with the cooks, their story, the food and the menu was quite wonderful.Specifically the food (the currysauce!!) carried me back to my childhood where I would munch on currywurst and fries with mayo marching up and down PaquetStrasse.Thank you for providing a food time capsule for me and a frelling wonderful start to our vacation.-Jad
Food was fresh and delicious! It is nice to finally have some German food in the area. Each meal is prepared as you order as this speaks for their freshness, so expect a little bit of a wait on busy days. They have a nice outdoor area to sit and relax while waiting so I recommend getting a cool drink! Employees of all the food trucks in the area were incredibly helpful. As I was waiting for my food, there wasn’t any shady spots, but an employee from another truck put up an umbrella...
Amazing food! They were at Three Acres and we tried just about everything on the menu, there wasn’t a single bite left on our plates. Our favorites would have to be the special which was a curry chicken skewer dish and the schnitzel w/ sauerkraut. The potato salad is an absolute must try! (I told them I’d give my honest opinion but forgot before leaving, so I’m putting it here) Just an added bonus, this has to have been one of the nicest food truck teams we’ve ever met....
