You can taste the love Chef Mary pours into her food. She was so helpful at creating our menu. We had a tasting with about 4 of our closest friends where she hosted us at her restaurant. The day of the wedding we kept hearing how amazing the food was and were asked who made the food. Her food is definitely like a hug. Besides our wedding we plan to use her for all future events and the first to send over to our friends! Not only is she amazing and talented at what she does but also is one of the funniest people we've ever met.

We recently had the pleasure of using Chef Mary Bass for a group of 20. We had her cater our dinners for three nights and box lunches for the 10 men who went fishing. I can not rave enough about how delicious and flavorful her dinners were. Every night I heard the praises from 20 people about how yummy the food was. She delivered exactly at 5 pm each night as well as bringing the following days lunches. All the hot food was put into hot boxes to keep it warm and the cold lunches had cold packs in the boxes to keep them cold. And the quantity was enormous! We had so much extra food each night which made for delicious leftovers the next day!!! I promise you won't be disappointed in her service or food!!! She is an A+++ caterer! She was very helpful and timely with the delivery and that was it. There was no customer review follow up so I sent her an email regarding the food that was a disaster and crickets....no response at all since April 3, 2024. She brings flavors beyond expectations to your event. When I walked in to friends wedding dinner and saw her I was so excited my mouth started watering with anticipation.Lucky for us they started with a New Year's tradition Black Eye Peas "Good Luck Bruschetta". While the bar opened, Chef Mary had her staff pass out appetizers of Chimichurri Chicken, Brisket Deviled Eggs, and Whipped Goat Cheese with Bacon/Date Tapenade. I'm normally not a fan of goat cheese but such a treat to taste and enjoy.The buffet was not to be missed with Beef Tenderloin, Blackened Chicken w/Cajun Cream Sauce, roasted vegetables, garlic herb mashed potatoes, Grandma Mary's Mac & Cheese and Chef Mary Bass Famous Good Dough Rolls.To those upcoming events in the Galveston, Texas area with any upcoming events for friends or colleagues I would encourage you to reach out to Chef Mary to see what what her kitchen can bring to your table.

We just used her for catering and bar services at our November 2023 wedding and it was FANTASTIC. Chef Mary is such a delight to work with and will tailor the menu (both food and bar) to your exact tastes. Everyone talked about how nice it was to have good wedding food for once. I highly recommend Chef Mary and her team for any event. The presentation is beautiful and her team continuously zuzhs the presentation so it stays looking nice and not all picked over and messy.They were all so sweet and worked like a well oiled machine.
