Came here for lunch and we tried the Baja fish (fresh snapper) tacos and the everything bagel. Both were so very good and atmosphere was great. We also got Arnold Palmers that were made from scratch right in front of us. Just two people work there so can get kind of busy but definitely worth wait. Highly recommend!

It's not often that a restaurant can make you go wow. Fish Company Taco is that place. Don't let the fact that it's small, old and divey fool you. This is the spot if you want to try the best fish taco's that you've ever had! They get their fish and shrimp daily from Katie's. If your not familiar with Katie's, they have their own fishing fleet so you know it's as fresh as you can get! It's all about the taco's here. We had the Baja taco with both snapper and shrimp. We also had the Korean taco with snapper and fish.We typically don't do add ons, but the nice guy at the register suggested we try the homemade potato salad..... and it fit right into the OMG category. And if that wasn't enough, the owner is very friendly and loves talking to her customers. Not only the regulars, but us new out of town folks too.I'm going to send a note to Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. This is Guy's kind of place!!

This local spot is so incredible. The daily catch selections can be served several Asian fusion styles but don’t be disheartened … They do sell out daily because it’s such a great little hidden gem the inside is warm but the outside seating is great. These tacos aren’t meant for linen, napkins and fine dining even though they’re served as if they should be at a five-star restaurant. They are just amazing beautiful chefs creations.

Stopped in while on the island for work. Each one of my coworkers and I were happy. service was quick and laid back at the same time. No one around here is in a rush which nice to take a step back and relax sometimes.

Oh man, was not expecting this quality and flavor of fish tacos. Looks like a favorite for locals. It’s a hole in a wall style place but oh my god…it’s amazing. Super friendly staff too

Food is super fresh and made to order! Fresh ingredients that are carefully prepared. The batter on the fish is light and crisp. Some of the best battered fish I’ve ever had. Definitely more of a grab and go place for us as the AC unit was down when we went. Keep in mind you will have to wait for your food a little bit and they seem to often sell out early. If you want to try them, get there when it opens. We felt it was worth the wait!

hands down the best tacos in Galveston [and, quite frankly, outside of Galveston] my partner had been raving about this spot for months as he's had them once and was hooked, but whenever he's tried to go back, they sell out before 1pm (they're THAT good)he finally brought me along for one of his attempts and I'm so glad we were successful this go round. Hands down THE best fish tacos I've ever had (the gulf shrimp ones as well).what got the empire (one with fish and one with shrimp), baja with fish and crispy eggplant (I don't generally like eggplant but this was fire)The food was the headliner but the staff truly stole the show! So kind, so accommodating, so down to earth. After eating our first round, we went back for seconds but they had officially sold out. Chef Daya was so gracious to still whip us something up (I'm talkin onion rings, veggie tacos and quesadilla bites). I was blown away by the gesture because this level of hospitality and going above and beyond is rare. They have more than tacos on the menu and I can't wait to try every single item the inside of this spot is super chill and can be a little hot during summer but we sat outside and were fine

Easily, the BEST food in Galveston. Most people ambiance equates to fine dining. For me, it’s when you can leave an establishment full AND satisfied. The latter is usually lacking at restaurants, particularly in tourist destinations. There are pros and cons to their hours. Con is you can only get their food a few days a week, and not after 3pm - that’s if they haven’t sold out beforehand. The pro is that the food is so good the hours create a sense of longing. So, when you do have their tacos, or kimchi greens, or brussel sprouts, you feel as though you’re treating yourself…which you are.Last, the space gets hot during the summer months. But in my opinion, seeing the two chefs sweat in front of me further let’s me know I’m about to eat good. Most people eat outdoors, anyway.

So so so good. Absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced tacos. My absolute fav was the gochujang tacos with fried shrimp on flour. The service was awesome! The lady at the counter was super helpful in which items would be best for my palate.

Wow and yum! Drove up to find a somewhat unkempt building—but bustling at Fish Company Taco’s end. Greeted by an enthusiastic young man who explained the menu and the two specials. Five kinds of fish tacos—with your choice (today) of snapper or Gulf shrimp. One of my friends requested vegan. No problem! I ordered the special—a whole fried fish with a flavor bomb of a sauce with green onions, red chilies and I’m not sure what else. We enjoyed every bite. Prompt service. Can do take-out.

Stopped by on our way out of town and it did not disappoint! The Baja and Korean tacos were excellent and the special of the day (fried catfish and grits) was PERFECTION! We will be back! Great staff!

If you're a fan of tacos, you absolutely must try Fish Company Taco! These fish tacos are simply the best I've ever eaten. The flavor of the fish is spot-on, and the texture is perfect - crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. But what really sets Fish Company Taco apart is the sauce - it's so delicious, I could honestly drink it straight from the bottle! All in all, if you're looking for a top-notch taco experience, Fish Company Taco is the place to go. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Last week, I came in for a quick bite to eat. The restaurant itself is fairly compact, with very few tables and a bar top inside. When entering the establishment, patrons are able to place orders at the register directly when walking in. The menu items are limited and uncomplicated with fresh, unique takes on Vietnamese fare. What I got:Vietnamese tacoI love a good fish taco as it's packed with protein, is healthy, and is sure to satisfy any appetite as it's filling. This redfish taco was topped with fresh mint, basil, carrot, lime, and cilantro. The freshness and crisp flavor profile brought forth by the cilantro and Thai basil lightened the already light white fish. The balance between the accouterments and fish was nicely done. Baja tacoThis fresh gulf shrimp taco was topped with crème fraîche, cilantro, lime, and house made salsa. The gulf shrimp for this dish were fresh and plump. Gulf shrimp are the preferred protein for dishes such as these as they have a palatable flavor as a result of its natural habitat, and the nutritional value and health benefits of these tasty crustaceans are impressive! This taco was filling and light just like its Vietnamese cousin.Pickled BitsThese are essentially the pickled vegetables of the day. My bits were an amalgamation of various pickled at the height of freshness veggies that were perfectly brined and marinated. This is an ideal way to snack for those looking for something fresh and healthy. Service Chef Daya and her staff are attentive and make everyone who comes into this establishment feel like they are "Norm" from Cheers. When I walked out of the establishment with my food, I received a warm, "Thank you, Courtney, see you next time." Color me impressed because they only knew my name as it was listed on my order and not because I am regular here. Also, it should be noted that this is a Gulf to table spot which means that when things run out for the day, even if it's an hour after opening, they are out for that day. It's a good possibility this could happen as folks line up at the door prior to the establishment opening for the day just to get a taste of what this local gem has to offer. Overall, if you are looking for local fresh costal tacos served with a dose of hospitality, this is your place!#supportlocal
