The hot dog was great, the cake was dry and definitely not fresh. We ordered at the bar and the. Find a seat. Wasn't the experience I was expecting. Not your regular table service.

My travel partner is from Chicago and I'm from Wimberley, Texas. We met in Houston and then drove to Galveston. We were walking around on the Strand and doing some shopping. We asked a local where there was a good place to eat. They directed us to the Coastal Star Brewing Company. We went in and the owner greeted us. Very friendly. The place is ran by him and his wife who we didn't meet. We had the bar b que and it was great. We tried the fries and loved them.

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving Day having a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner at Coastal Star Brewing Company. The purple drink is a Texas Lavender Margarita. The food was delicious, unique ingredients to the sides, and the perfect portion. We were too full to eat dessert but they had a few pies and a few cakes. The pink champagne cake would've totally been my choice. The owner and his wife were so in sync. We sat at the bar and watched them make drinks, it was like an Olympic...
