The only reason I am giving a 3-star instead of 5-Star is due entirely because I ordered a cup of seafood gumbo and something did not taste right. I cannot explain it. I told the server and he took the bowl from me, but I was still charged for it. I only took 2 maybe 3 bites so most of it was still present. Besides that the food is GREAT! Service was top notch. Server was a little wirey, but i like that. Been there several times and will continue to come back.

Our server Keith was great and told us about the history of Katie's as well as how they get fresh fish daily right off the boats at their dock. Save your receipt and get 10% off at the fresh fish market next door.

Well… with news of Katie’s unpatriotic stand on the Historic Battleship Texas being berthed at Pier 19 because it would “ Block the view “ of the ship channel and the old beat up shipyard across the channel from Katie’s which is beat up tin shack and nothing to look at to boot I think I’ll NEVER GO THERE , I ve never wanted to anyway because of dirty appearance.
