I decided to have a light dinner, due to having enjoyed a substantial lunch that day. The restaurant had two large tables of guests seated, probably from the conference going on in the hotel at the time. I was seated at a table near the bar. Despite being by myself, I received very attentive service. My expectations were not high, with the two large groups of other guests. I was very impressed. The host and servers tag teamed very well to attend to all of their guests.

Great birthday experience! Food was excellent and abundant with loads of options. Our server, Heaven, was excellent. Highly recommend!

We have stayed and eaten at this hotel many times. The service is always terrific as was our last experience. However, much to our disappointment and chagrin, the restaurant was out of several things and the menu was not accurate. They ran out of olive oil, coleslaw, rice pilaf and Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio. Also, the pasta with fra diavolo on the menu would now be served with a creamy white wine sauce. I can't speak for anything else on the menu because I just know that we tried to order the above items and learned they were out of them. I also ordered the grilled shrimp (nice large shrimp and generous portion) BUT they were not grilled. They looked steamed or sautéed and had very little flavor. Our poor waiter was clearly embarrassed. The restaurant manager came by with an apology, gave us a discount and I do appreciate the gesture and act of goodwill.

Disappointed in the quality of the food for the price. Good selection and variety. Just not worth the price.

Amazing! Staff was super accommodating and the food was cooked to perfection. We will be back.

A beautiful place to create memories with those special people in your life. We had a wonderful ladies brunch and would return to try more items. The mimosas were fab and so were the espresso martinis.

It was a very special day not just because it was my birthday but also our wedding anniversary. The Sunday brunch at the Grand Galvez is always first class. A very elegant set up with all the servers dressed to perfection and working very professional for the guests while always demonstrating courtesy with a smile on their face. We were seated facing the Gulf and our table was set up accordingly. Attention to detail was showing. Their Sunday brunch is an absolute amazing experience and our server was on hand the minute we needed something extra. We will no doubt be back again. Capt. Robert Swidersky

There was initially a longish wait for service, and it took a few minutes to get in sync with the waiter. The reviews prepared us with low expectations. However, drinks from the bar were excellent and the food and service did not disappoint. Large but not excessive portion size and generous seafood portions. Only negative was a very strong perfume scent of unknown origin.

The Sunday brunch was a total disappointment. The food was mediocre at best. The seafood offerings were minimal. It took 30 minutes for the smoked salmon to be replenished. The crab claws were very difficult to crack open as were too soft. The rest of the buffet was "generic" and mundane. The dessert section however was very good. Many tables were full of dirty dishes that were not attended to after the quests departed. The 89.00 per person was totally excessive . I would not recommend it.

The Sunday Bruch was over the top! A definite must for any who enjoy Brunching on the Island. Service was great, a 5 out of 5.

Great disappointment and not as it used to be. Deterioration on every level, food quality, prices, choices,...etc. especially wine and champagne prices have went up drastically and the most important choices and brand names/vintages are gone. My experience with my family was not good and my food was not edible the fish was overdone, the shrimp was low grade and wrapped with cheap kind of bacon and not cooked properly. Oysters the worst quality of fresh oysters I've ever had, and the cooked ones provencial where undercooked and lacking taste and ingredients. They stopped servicing cornbread that used to be warm served and they substituted with the cheapest bread that's still doughy on the inside. Probably they have changed the manager or the managing team. Also, The Snapper was anything but fresh, and the risotto is under cooked. Will not recommend again ever. I usually don't take food pictures I wish I did but it's enough to look at the bill holder to get my points. I took a picture of that one

I go out a lot to fine dining restaurants, even in Europe (Denmark, Italy) , and I was afraid cause I saw some bad reviews, but the steak I had is one of the best ones I have ever had, (the scallops were really good but didn’t match the description of the menu tho), the oysters were delicious, and the service was amazing, I loved how attentive and nice my waiter was
