I was on the hunt for a local specialty bakery while on family vacation. We decided to do an impromptu birthday party and I was looking around desperately! The counter lady was so sweet and patient with my questions and trying to figure out what to get for our party of diverse (read picky) eaters. This fun and unexpected treasure is hidden in the middle of the historic district. The staff was playful and the goodies were delicious. I heard rumors of high prices but this time the scuttlebutt was wrong. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis. I had the best pecan pie (literally more pecans than the rest of the pie put together) and my wife enjoyed the KeyLimePie tart.
