They were out of the two sides I wanted (actually the only two I can actually eat) and the boss didn’t want to give me a little extra meat to compensate for a 3 meat plate. Don’t know if this is just a hired help thing or not, but I’ll pass Queen’s! Purely based on principle. I’d recommend teaching the help some business sense.
I would have given 4 starts however.. The service aka lady that took the orders was extremely rude. Was somewhat "reprimanded" for standing in the wrong place to place an order... Was hesitant to even stay and order. The food ended up being pretty good. I got the Frito pie thing. The menu said it was made with brisket. I think it was burger.. Portions are very generous and pricing was great..
Cool atmosphere. Friendly staff. Ordered the two meat barbecue plate. Brisket was tough and dry. Sausage had a mushy feel. Potato salad and coleslaw were good. They were out of pickles and onions.
