Russo's New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen | Galveston

We are fans of the Houston locations and the Galveston location certainly did not disappoint. Consistent flavors and speedy service. Our go to is the Mulberry pizza and chicken pesto pasta.

Local who regularly orders Russo's via Door Dash. I've never been into the restaurant but, I've ordered over the past two years, and I've never had a disappointing meal delivered!

That's says A LOT! Russo's is the go-to for takeout on those lazy nights you don't wanna cook and Italian is calling your name.

Some of our favorites are the build your own Calzones! The Pizza, of course! The meat sauce spaghetti with meatballs! Delicious, and the serving size is perfect for dinner, and lunch the next day!

Lastly, and only recently we had the dessert calzone! It was good. But, I wouldn't order it, again. I would recommend the tiramisu!

I came in Saturday night and I was greeted by a lovely young lady who was very nice and had a good attitude, she recommended the chicken rústica because of its garlic sauce and it was very delicious! Although it was a bit busy service was quick and the table bread was a nice complementary bread. There’s plenty of parking and the desserts looked tempting. I’ll have to try the pasta next time.

Small place. Clean. Nice employees. I did not like the pizza. I ordered the largest, which was 28" bcz I had a big crowd. However, the flavoring tasted cheap.

The Stromboli was a bit small but was a bit better than the pizza.

While I did not try the desserts, the look rather delicious.

I will most likely not visit again.

Service was friendly, food was delicious, and the man I assume was the owner or manager made a wine recommendation and poured me the most delicious, generous pour. This is now my pizza place place when I visit Galveston!

Gross.

Ordered a slice of Prosciutto and Burrata pizza. Found out after driving down the road it was soaked in truffle oil. The cardboard to go container was handed to me with no plastic bag and no warning. The foul smelling oil leaked into my car seat. The menu mentions prosciutto, burrata, arugula (which was thankfully omitted as requested), and olive oil. Nothing about overpowering, palate killing, disgusting truffle oil. The seagulls got an expensive snack.

The staff were friendly and attentive, while I was there. I just wish there had been an accurate list of ingredients (I would have simply requested "no truffle oil.") and a warning about the dripping lubrication.

My wife and I ordered the burrata and prosciutto pizza. The crust was fantastic. It was crispy and tasty. The rest was saltier than the ocean. I would give it another chance because the crust was so good. The service was good too but the place was dark, hot and dingy.

Ate here on vacation and I’m literally still dreaming about it. I had fettuccine Alfredo with a Cesar salad and a slice of cheesecake. Absolute heaven on earth.
