We tried this place because it was one of the few places that was open late on the island. After reading the reviews it felt like a good decision, however, that didn't last long. We arrived about 10 pm on a Saturday, the place was busy and there were no tables available. This is not a restaurant where your order is taken at your table, you have to order from a screen at the front, pay and then you serve your drink and find a seat. Soon after paying, a party left and we sat at their table expecting someone would stop by to clean it and take away dishes. That never happened, I'm guessing because they only had one waitress; we eventually stopped her and asked to clean the table for us and she kindly did so. After, we waited for an entire hour before our food came out, the party we were with, waited an extra 30 minutes!!!! The poor waitress kept apologizing to everyone for the wait and the owner just kept greedily taking orders without notifying people that there was such a long wait. When the food came out, it was just ok, some warm, some cold and just overall not worth it. Waitress is super nice, there's only one cook and poor guy looked exhausted when he came out for a drink and then there's the greedy owner. If you have hours to kill and want mediocre food go here, if not, spare yourself the frustration.

We wanted to try it but walked into the convenience store/restaurant, didn't look clean and the prices were $10 higher from what was on the menu we saw on here. It was $29.99 for the fried seafood platter in the store- but on the uploaded menu it said $19.99. We decided for those Papadeaux prices we would go elsewhere. We left and found The Press Box sports bar & grill that was a mile from there and it was sooo good.

This place is awesome! I had the shrimp and oysters platter and it was done perfectly. The fries with the meal were great too. Also, the place is a convenience store and has all kinds of cool things too. I will come back again!
We went to eat Saturday evening this place has Great prices and so delicious food definitely coming back I loved the service the waitress was very friendly !

Good food! Hidden gem, very clean, good service. I had the shrimp po-boy, my mom had the cheese burger and my hubby had the blackened salmon with grilled shrimp, no complaints.

This place looked shady at first. But, the food was amazing! Better then all the restaurants on the main strip in galveston. Price a little high, but it's worth it. Definitely impressed!

Daniel was soooooo great. He mad my kid Isaiah a vacation fancy drink even though they are not set up to do that. the service was great and you should try the ceviche. Me isaiah: Daniel was super nice I wanted a nice drink like one of the margaritas my mom and dad had but non-alcoholic. So I asked our waiter (aka Daniel) if there was any non-alcoholic drinks and there wasn't. A few minutes later he asked if I like strawberry or mango and I said both. Later I saw him working really hard and shaking things. And then he came over with a really nice strawberry mango drink. He was super nice and if you come make sure you get Daniel as your waiter. :)
