The greeting was warm as I walked in to Al Green over speakers. I ordered the fried rib plate with cabbage and mac n cheese. The fried ribs had a mustard sauce on them that I'll have to get a side of to keep dipping the ribs in. Outstanding flavor and crunch as well as tender. The cabbage was perfect like the mac n cheese. All that was left were 4 rib bones. This is a must if you are in galveston.

The food is incredible. I had the Ribs and Shrimp with yams and cabbage. Everything was well seasoned hot and delicious. The owner and staff was great. We will definitely be coming back this Tripp as well as the next one.

Owner was a bit sassy but in the most fun and positive way because I’m a sarcastic person myself! Showed up at 11:05 when Google said they opened at 11 and door was locked. I had made my way back to the vehicle and the owner open the door for me asking me to come back. I’m glad I did being it was my first time visiting Galveston because the shrimp was phenomenal and that chicken spaghetti is out of this world…. I cannot believe spaghetti is a side dish because I could eat a gallon of that in one sitting ?. Reminds me a lot of my grandmother‘s food back from New Iberia, Louisiana. I’m definitely going to recommend it to my friends and family that hit up Galveston to stop by on their way out ?✅

The food at Soul 2 Soul is delicous with a homecooked taste. The fried catfish and ribs are awesome. The cabbage was so favorable. The owner, Ouida, made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First, the owner is an amazing and bubbly lady with knack for customer service.
The food is extremely delicious and maybe it’s a good thing i do not live in Galveston otherwise my wallet will cry for help lol.
The fish and shrimp were seasoned and fried to perfection! Nice crust on the outside, juicy on the inside. The roasted chicken is in a class of its own! Moist, juicy, and completely detached from the bones with little to no effort. All the side dishes were bussin’ but the black eyed peas, yams, and cornbread definitely stood out for me.
10/10 will visit again the next time i’m in the area.
