This was a great dinner choice! My wife and I were looking for some good Mexican in Galveston and Tequila Rock totally did not disappoint. The atmosphere is kind of fusion between upscale American and Mexican; but is clean and delicious as well. I got the queso burrito and my wife ordered the Teso tacos. Everything was quick and wow, super delicious. Would 100% recommend! Loved the layout in the restaurant, the bar area, and even the bathrooms were clean.
We had a great experience at Tequila Rock! The combo fajitas were absolutely amazing—the meat was incredibly tender and full of flavor. TJ, our bartender, was outstanding! She was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better with her excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!
I enjoy visiting the strand when I am down in Galveston. I have visited a location next door to here before but do not recall seeing this establishment. It is a nice place with a very nice brick wall divide and wonderful lighting inside the restaurant. The staff is friendly. Multiple weekly specials like Thursday’s you get a free margarita with an entree purchase. The fish and shrimp fiesta tacos were delicious. Honestly what brought me here was a review with a picture...
