Haven't been disappointed with this place since it opened food is always great, service staff is very helpful, clean bathrooms, dining area, and the views. Hot day on the beach, frozen sangria or rose to go. Shrimp tacos, cold lobster roll, burgers, handmade chips. On the beach, at home to go, or in restaurant. This is my place in Galveston. Pet friendly so get them a burger too.

We were visiting Galveston for the Tall Ships event and had lunch at The Anchor while we were waiting on the Ship Parade. We knew beforehand that it would be a busy time and we were prepared for that but were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we received our order.I had the fried fish po-boy and my husband had the fried shrimp po-boy.Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious and served hot with crispy hot fries. The drink station was self-serve which we truly appreciate in establishments...read full review

Really good food at a pretty decent price (for touristy places) with great service to boot. They do try hard, but when they get busy, their service times get kinda long, but they did let us know, and their estimated time was pretty accurate. Definitely recommend, and while there's a number of other restaurants in Galveston we'd like to try, we're be back again.Parking: They're further "down the line" from a lot of other spots along the seawall, so parking usually isn't too bad.
