View is great, but the service is terrible. A table remained dirty with food on it the entire time we were there, at least two hours. We waited about 20 min for a waiter. Had to return my drink, and waiter didn’t return to ask if we might want to order more drinks. The service downstairs is much better. Hopefully the service will improve.
Great views and cocktails, comfortable seating with gas firepits.
Awesome place with an awesome view
Currently a nice place to grab a drink. Informed they were going to remodel the rooftop bar. They said they are going to install a direct elevator the bar.
Terrible service. We were not greeted well. Then the waiter had an attitude when we asked for a menu. We waited more than 20 minutes and were never asked what we wanted to drink or eat. Another couple left with us and said they had the same experience.
When making the reservation I mentioned it was our anniversary and asked for a table near the harborside so we could sit near each other instead of the tables where you are 15 ft apart and closer to the people next to you than your partner. We ended up in one of these tables anyway and when we asked about another table they said those were all reserved. They were not very polite and we ended up leaving before ordering food because this wasn't the anniversary experience we had hoped for.
Our waitress was nowhere to be found but Isabelle helped us even though we were not her table. She took our food and drink orders after we couldn't find our waitress and even checked on us through out the night. We tipped her and not the waitress that brought our check. Food wasn't great. It felt like they just didn't care because they are closing next week for renovations. Hopefully when they reopen it's better food and service.
16 dollars for an extremely strong old fashioned that sipped like a shot. Go somewhere else.
Service was terrible! We were so looking forward to our visit, but service failed miserably. We waited 20 minutes for silverware and napkins after our food had been brought out. They ended up sending security to deliver our silverware....very strange. The queso we ordered had a base of broken up chips on the bottom hidden by a few unbroken chips on top. We asked for more whole chips and by the time they brought more the quest had gotten hard. They apologized for the crumb chips and blamed it on the last bag they had. Makes so sense , since they brought more unbroken chips 15 minutes after we asked for them. We had ordered drinks soon after we got there, but no one ever checked on us for more drinks. We left very dissatisfied.
Would give zero stars if possible. They lost my card. Still waiting in absolutely no service

Poor service, terrible drinks, great ambiance. Seemed like they had a very green bartender working. The flavor profile was extremely lacking based on the description of the drinks as well as the price per drink($16). Tried 4 different drinks and two were not drinkable, one was so so and the other was a tad better. For a $70 tab, we didn't finish one of the drinks, that should say something. Huge disappointment to end the night.
We made reservations and they seated us in the sun. I asked for one in the shade. The hostess said it was a table for 4 so we couldn't sit there. Then I see 2 people and a young child get seated there. Our drinks were overpriced for being only satisfactory.
The only reason to go here is to get a view. We were told that we couldn't order off the cafe menu, even though it was listed on the menu. We got the charcuterie board but it was very basic with water crackers, and a bit of cheese and salami for $30. I had a glass of wine, and the service was terrible. Go for a drink, take some pics and go somewhere else for dinner.
They took us in for my sister's anniversary, even though we were later than we expected, but the only complaint was the speaker with stupid music (?) right in our ears. It's a sunset atmosphere, not a disco. The music (?) should be smooth, not ridiculously loud and annoying. The speaker should be up and away, not a ear level. When asked to lower the volume, they refused. Very unappealing. Waitress was great and friendly and the desserts, while expensive, were excellent! Also, the bar stools would be better if they had "backs", not just stools.
The food review was one star because N/A wasn't provided as an option. Food is not served here, it's a bar only. In all past visits, the Tremont's Rooftop Bar has been amazing. Since discovering it with a social group almost 10 years ago, I've made it a point to visit again and again for the view, the decor, and the vibe. It's been a great place to take a date / spouse, or just hang with some friends. This last visit was marred, however, by a female member of their staff who initially seated us at a table with more space than we needed for our party of three. Not that this presented a problem, but later audibly throwing us under the bus when leading newly-arriving patrons around in search of seating, telling them that we told them we were a party of four, was a problem. We were never a party of four, and at no time represented ourselves as such. At around the 90 minute mark, this same woman came to tell us that the table had another reservation soon, hinting that we needed to leave. As a group that was quiet, respectful, and kept to ourselves, we were offended by that, as nowhere was it posted or told to us up front that our reservation was for a limited period of time. Also disappointing, we were told at one point that future plans for the bar include enclosing it. If so, that's a mistake, as one of the best things about it is it's open view of the sky and exposure to the seabreeze. Maybe that cramps business during rain or cold, but it just won't be the same afterwards. I only hope they change their minds.
