Don't bother ordering takeout, they just going to make you wait at the store anyway

This is a great spot for incredible Vietnamese food! The broken rice plate with grilled pork is top-tier, and they certainly don't skimp on the portions. Also, don't miss the fermented fish vermicelli soup—the broth is deeply flavored and absolutely tasty. With a welcoming atmosphere, it's a great local gem for a delicious and filling meal with family or friends.

The food is good. A few Vietnamese restaurants in the DFW area can deliver flavorful dishes with authenticity and quality, and this place is one of them.
The service is decent. There are good days and bad days. Servers can take quite some time to check on you or get the necessary things (to-go box, drink refill, etc.). However, the food makes up for that.
Keep up the good work. I would be very sad if this place goes downhill.

I have only dined at Bep Que for one time and it will definitely be my last time.
We had bun mam, bun dau mam tom, bo bia, hu tiu, ca phe sua, and nuoc mia.
I rate bun mam, bun dau, hu tiu 4/5, and ca phe sua and bo bia 2/5.
Bun mam 3.5/5 was alright but not anywhere near being good or exceptional, there were 3 shrimps in my bun mam but 2 were very good and quite fresh while the other 1 is pretty bad and spoiled.
Bun dau mam tom 3/5 - mam tom was diluted but it was still very salty, we werent provided with sugar until asked.
Bo bia 2/5 is mid at best, the sauce that goes with it doesnt tie the flavors together and it doesnt smell or taste peanut at all.
Ca phe sua da 2/5 needs much more condensed milk. It was pretty bitter, not that the coffee is strong, just bitter.
Regarding service, the place offers one of the most horrible service I’ve seen. Sorry.
Waited 15 minutes for the menus then 15 minutes later to have our order taken, still no water. The servers repeatedly forgot our order. We ordered 2 bun mam, 1 is being brought out first then they forgot about the other one. we had to remind them once we had all the other dishes ordered and it was certain they forgot the other bun mam.
We ordered 3 nuoc mia, one server only brought 1 nuoc mia out without lid, then cameback in to get the lid, then 2 other nuoc mia were brought out 10 minutes later.
They forgot about the bo bia and we had to remind them too.
When we asked for the water refill, the server had our bottle filled at the station then delivered it to another table and get some other table’s bottle filled and deliver to our table. And the water bottle was very dirty on the outside. Dont dine here if you are in a rush or only have 1 hour to eat because they will mess your order and be very slowly in servicing you.
Never again.

Bep Que has a large space, cute decoration reminiscent of a Vietnamese country kitchen. The food comes out quickly, delicious taste. I ordered Bun rieu oc, Hu tieu and Bot chien. I like all the dishes, will definitely come back to try many other dishes.

Restaurantji Recommends
Hu Tieu usually has:
(1) overwhelming amount of green onion and chives. They have an OK amount.
(2) minced pork ❌
(3) tender pork ✅
(4) Pork with bone on ❌
(5) Calamari ❌
(6) Shrimp or Prawn ❌
(7) Quail Eggs ❌
(8) delicious broth ✅
They delivered on the check marks. The X means they didn’t include it.
They included sliced meatballs at least to compensate which is fine.
I did request a small side bowl of prawn and pork to further complement the Hu Tieu with more protein. That costed $8…
Thus, Hu Tieu with an extra side bowl altogether was $21…
Taste - Value ratio doesn’t really justify it.
Also, customer service is slow and inattentive and we had to walk up to request for things.

I been here so many times and every time was the same good food good service worth to try
Today, I ordered bun cha Hanoi and was brought out a plate with dirty (look closely at all the little particle things) veggies. Looks like either reused or veggie that's fallen to the floor or thrown away so dirty and scary!! 😠 😡
TLDR: understaffed, long waits for food, dirty silverware, tasty food
Came to eat with the fam, we ordered several different dishes that came after 20 minutes and staggered. The last 2 dishes being 30 minutes and 40 minutes after the first dish was served. So we had people sitting hungry while others had finished eating.
It seems to have been a busy Sunday as all the tables had customers, half of us had drinks and the other half just got up to grab a pitcher of tea since every server waived our request off. I understand the establishment is busy but 20 minutes wait for drinks is ridiculous.
The ready to grab utensils were not clean as it had giant chunks of vegetables stuck on it. I'm not talking tony specks I'm talking kernel sized stuck to the spoons.
Food is horrible and service so so bad, no water until I finished my dish. Never come back. Waiting for food 30 mins, no water during waiting the food. You can see the emty table without water and checked out
