Yee-haw, what a treat our visit to Babes Chicken House in Garland was on August 10, 2025! My wife and I dove headfirst into the iconic fried chicken—crisp, juicy, and bursting with Southern flavor, it was a plateful of pure joy. Our daughter happily munched on the kids’ tenders, so tender they could’ve won a baby bird’s approval, while my buddy demolished the chicken fried steak, crowning it the king of comfort eats. The service was spot-on, with staff serving up smiles...
Their children fried steak is the best I've ever had. The biscuits are like my grandma used to bake. Vinegary sweet salad dressing. Don't get carried away with the biscuits and salad, it's a big meal.
OMG this place is always delicious. We normally go to the Babes in Carrollton TX but decided to go visit the one in Garland, TX. It was so good. The green beans are my favorite side, they remind me of my Granny's green beans (she put fat back in hers) I could go there for the green beans alone. If you haven't been please take time to go, it won't disappoint!
