This was my first time at District 1, I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for dinner, jumped in my car and drove over to this new little adventure. The atmosphere was very charming and the delicious smell of food fills the air the moment you step out of your car. I walked across the parking lot and the music from the speakers mixed with the smell of foods draws towards District 1. As I stood in front of the menu I was delightful greeted by a staff member who politely asked if had any questions, I smiled and nodded then preceeded to order. In addition I asked for a passion fruit refresher( which I didn't attach a picture of unfortunately because I started to drink it whilst I waited for my order). They give you a little buzzer for your order and I took a seat at a near by table as I waited. When my order was ready I collected my items then went home to enjoy the labors of my new food adventure. My expectations were over the moon. The display of the food looked ? amazing. Every detail was charming, the veggies pickled, the meats well seasoned. My absolute favorite was their tater tots. What a delightful spin on tater tots! I honestly look forward to returning for another tasty opportunity ?

What an amazing find... Delicious Vietnamese street food.. had the kumquat tea, beef kebabs, quails and the coco flan. All of it was perfect...and that lemon grass side sauce is a game changer. Loved the outside sitting area.

District 1 is the best place to go eat period. even if you're looking to snack or actually have a dinner. I went one night right before they closed but the hospitality and customer service I received was top tier. I did not know what I was going to order so I told the owner to surprise me. The food he gave me was so delicious even if they were about to close! go district 1!

Some say that first impressions are the most important part of a relationship. Well then District 1 blew it out of the water! Their banh bao Gion (crispy dumpling pork taco things) are so good, and well worth the price. I will be back sometime soon for dinner.
