The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. But the food is the complete opposite. No flavor, small portions, and old tasting. The sweet and sour chicken was hard, and most pieces were not edible. The fried rice didn't even have veggies in it and needed more flavor. Won't ever go back here.

Tried this place for the first time and was disappointed. Service is terrible, the owner or lady at the front taking my order was rude, I let her know that it was my first time trying them out so I wanted to look at the menu. Once I made my decision I told her I was ready she ignored me after I kindly told her again I was ready she took my order and was yelling at me bc it didn’t make sense to her what I was ordering. I order low mein with garlic sauce and deluxe fried rice, the low mein had literally no flavor the rice was dry and seemed old they included some hot chili oil that had an old grease taste after eating this food I immediately went to throw up. Worst Chinese food I’ve had, I rather go to commercial non authentic place to at least have better customer service and to not throw up 🤮

Chicken fried rice was great. General Tso's chicken could have used more sauce, but it tasted great. Maybe cut chicken into smaller bite-sized chunks?

The food is terrible,I ordered sesame chicken during lunch hour and it was old and dried up as if it was cooked the day before,so don't waste your money on this place!!!

Unlike a previous Customer who reviewed the same week I attended Golden City, my lunch version of their Orange Chicken chicken was perfect. I will admit it was not spicy to my liking but I did not request any higher setting other than default menu. Another person at my table did say their General Tso's Chicken was dry on the inside and there was a notable difference between our 2 cooked chickens. And I will agree, the egg rolls are awesome. The lady who greeted and served us was attentive and cheery! For me, the cost, quality, and experience were right on par with my previous visit.

Friendly staff, I got the orange chicken lunch special. It was okay...chicken was hard, not spicy, the rice had no flavor. The egg roll was great though, definitely recommended the egg roll. Spent $10 on the lunch special and it just wasn't worth it for me.
