This place is really cute, right in the newly updated square for downtown Garland. Has a rustic feel for that typical brewery setup. Not super big but not tiny either. Was so disappointed when it came to food though. Spouse got a one meat plate, came with literally 3 small cuts of brisket. The sides have a decent portion somewhat so they didn't feel too shorted. I got half lb of turkey with one side. I ended up not caring for the side. The turkey was dry and tasteless. Brisket tasted like pot roast. BBQ sauce had kinda a curry taste. Which was such a bummer as everyone was kind and place was so cute! The only downside to atmosphere was the music level, there wasn't a lot of people but the had the music so loud you had to talk insanely loud just to have person beside you hear you. So over all, it was a cool place, it just didn't work for us as far as taste goes.
Nice location-Downtown Garland Square. We were first timers, food service staff not very engaging or explaining options. Not our idea of smoked Texas BBQ but the bags of fresh chicharonnes were on point. Wish we'd been warned pico would be on our baked potato.

Fantastic BBQ. Authentic Texas. Live music. Can be a bit loud. Outside and inside seating available (outside in a courtyard, not just by the entrance). Magnificent fried okra. Ask for a side of pickles and onions.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the saltiness of the pastrami special, but I think it was a me thing. It was super tender. The sides were also delicious and the staff was nice! Lots of big tables available to eat at.

I went in this morning with my sisters in law and our children. Nicky was amazing and walked us to our car after we expressed nervousness about someone outside of the establishment following us and our kids. He walked all of us to our cars and made sure the person didn't get near us. It was truly wonderful and made us feel safe. Plus the food is always 10/10. The staff is always so sweet and they really went above and beyond for us
