Panaderia Guatemalteca "La Mejor"

The new location is across the street and it’s a very nice place. Everything is delicious and the workers are super friendly. I really recommend this place.

2nd time coming in. Returned because this place is close by and I had a chocolate fix... not because I was impressed the first time.
This time my service was even worse than before. In my original visit, I was given incorrect items, I don't speak spanish... I didn't want to make a scene. It was what it was and I enjoyed them anyways.
This time though, I was checked out with the most disappointing and nasty attitude. My very few items were poorly packed, boxes left open... and I was charged for items that I didn't ask for or receive (overcharged?)
I would go in and try to get my 6 bucks back but the service was terrible...I don't want to be made into a scene or made to feel bad for what could have been an honest mistake on their part... a mistake that also would have been avoided if they gave real effort into providing efficient and accurate customer service.
Anyways. Maybe if you speak Spanish it will be a better time, personally I'm sad I won't be going back.

I ordered a cake in advance and it arrived the next day and it was not done, I waited quite a while and when they delivered it to me the cake was all broken and the colors were not what I had ordered. I would like my money back.

I want to give it a star, which is what the Guatemalan deserves for having poor quality food and excessively expensive prices. A Popusa, a little bit of tasteless beans that were from a can, a coffee and four pieces of banana. They charged me $20. They are shameless to have the courage to charge that amount for a poor quality meal. It is true that today everything is expensive, but I have eaten food in different restaurants and nothing is as expensive as that restaurant. The Guatemalan.

This place is so nice inside lots of choices for sweet bread and even coffee. They have a spot for food like a cafe and it’s a bakery so kinda like a 2 in 1. The bread is very good however I did get a cake from here and it was not very good. I would only go back for bread only.
