Taquería Ferrer may not look like much from the outside, being located in a Valero gas station, but this family-owned restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is freshly made and delicious. The menu offers all the classic taqueria dishes, including tacos, tortas, and fajitas. The pork carnitas and fajitas are particularly good, cooked well and chopped small. Customers can choose between corn or flour tortillas, and can customize their tacos with toppings like cilantro, chopped onion, and grilled onions and peppers. The portions are generous, with two small tacos being enough for a meal. Despite the unassuming surroundings, Taquería Ferrer is a fantastic option for authentic, homemade Mexican food.
