Nice comfortable outdoor space with good beer. Sometimes there is a food truck too!
Great little place with some amazing beer! The vibe here was chill and the people were awesome.
Fantastic brewery. Amazing local beer, incredible staff.
Rentsch Brewery in Georgetown is an absolute gem for locals looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy great craft beer! The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, perfect for catching up with friends or making new ones. It’s especially fantastic for Stammtisch gatherings—there’s a true sense of community here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to chat about the beers and brewing process. They host fun events like Oktoberfest, bingo, trivia nights, and often have food trucks on site. If you’re looking for a local hangout with excellent brews and a warm, social vibe, Rentsch Brewery is the place to be!
Nice vibe. Always an interesting assortment of beer on tap.
Very nice brewery with great beers, friendly staff and nice outdoor area.
Great place and awesome beer offerings.
Texas lager is a must try.
Food truck on site was great as well
Definitely coming back.
Always a good time, and Matt is the best.
Update 6/2025. Redeemed! The Monkey Rentsch and Hoptimus Prime IPAs are legit. No more vinegar aftertaste like before. Keep up whatever y'all are doing now.

The beer isn't bad, it's just British. Rentsch is a Georgetown staple. The huge Oaks, the great hospitality. The venue is really awesome. However, one must know what it is before going. In the past year folks have asked why the beer tastes sour and like vinegar. Today, the overwhelming desire in craft beer is full-bodied, full textured IPA's, Hazy's, Wheats, and Double IPA's. Electric Jellyfish is King. English/British Ales and brews are different. Think Lone Star and Lone Star light. Both great beers. Rentsch opts for less popular lagers, ales, pilsners. Not what many people like, but some do, so Rentsch fills that void. Rentsch serves more along the lines of Lone Star beer, and that's OK.
We hope Rentsch is around a very long time. Lone Star is a great beer, and Rentsch has nailed the British versions of it.
Rentsch is a family friendly brewery with plenty of open space inside and out. Food trucks are usually available and vary from cheesesteaks to yummy dessert treats.
We’ve been here many times for the music trivia bingo, good times and fun prizes, even the kids can play.
The back area outside is enclosed and spacious with lots of shade and seating. We love hanging on the patio because it has shaded benches or open areas if the weather is nice. They have heaters for the cold nights, too.
The beer is always great, many selections are on tap at all times and they have special releases as well. You can get light Pilsner style, Irish dry stouts, Belgians, IPA, barley wine, Hefeweizen, or red ales. They are all pretty tasty.
Sodas and other non-alcoholic drinks are available as well. There’s a cool ceramic mug collection for the members, sadly I missed out on this offer.
This place should be a staple in your Georgetown brewery rotation.

Try the 8 track amber ale
Very nice brew pub with a wide selection of beers. My favorite was a red belgian style beer. And IPA for my husband. A food was wagon was on site. They rotate schedules among them. The pastrami sandwich & fries were awesome. They have heated covered seating and a walk around area with tables among many the trees. Country setting with style. Will return👍
Great place! would highly recommend if you're lookign for place to hang out with friends
The beer was awesome as usual. Had the Uber Fest Marzian, good stuff. Need to give a shout out to the Cousins, Maine Lobster food truck. Best Lobster roll I've had since the one Halifax, NS. That's to be expected since we're in Texas. Great evening n
Very good beers, laid back vibe and friendly staff.
