For a Friday night this place was DEAD. There was one large party and a few couples. I had the chicken fried steak which was fine. My husband and French toast and it looked a bit weird and not fresh. The bacon was cheap and so was the sausage. The food was not hot for him. The hash browns had char and flakes of black debris. The staff was wearing street clothes. The decor was ok...but could be modernized but still try to keep the charm. This place could use some music playing and the TVs be on for the bar. The cook was also cussing and complaining and I don't think he is aware we can hear him.

Took my family there today. The server was a young man who obviously didn't want to be there. He got our orders wrong, and gave me a dirty look and nasty remark after I bussed our table because he was too busy on his phone to do it. I had to track him down to pay the check and ask for take out boxes. Food was not up to what it was before. No service, rude employee, overpriced. Never again.

OUTSTANDING! The food is absolutely amazing. I had the OLD TIMER . I never finish my food. I finished my today I tell you what! My server with the beautiful blue eyes. Very attentive. Nice young man. This is a hidden gem for sure. If you see this post, you must stop by. Don't think. Run ‍

Very cozy and charming atmosphere. Eclectic and down home. Food was solid, the omelette were meaty and the chicken fried steak was very flavorful and tender. Waitstaff were all super friendly. Would definitely go back for basic breakfast or another CFS.

I recently visited this cozy restaurant, and I loved the country house vibe with plates on the walls and comfy chairs. The food, especially the biscuits and chicken fried steak, was delicious. The apple turnovers with ice cream for dessert were a hit too. Plus, the staff were all super friendly, making it a great experience overall.

Really not impressed at all with the food and service. All the food was cold, biscuits were stale, orange juice was old and not good at all. The server acted as she did not want to be there at all. Sadly the worse food I've had in Georgetown!!

We didn't go because their pet friendly patio wasn't open. We called to confirm they were pet friendly which they assured me they were just not 3/29/2024

This is a hidden jewel near Sun City. The food is so good and very generous portions. The menu has something for everyone in a quiet environment.

We were excited to try it, but we got burnt food that had to be returned and when it came back it was too salty, and the burger was too dry and was over cooked. My mother in law and I wanted to split the chicken fry and they charged us $7 for an extra plate, just the plate. ?

This place is the place to go if you are looking for a true southern classic, chicken fried steak. This is by far the best chicken fried steak I have eaten since Bon Ton in La Grange Texas shut down (many years ago). I have also tried their chicken tenders and they were amazing as well now I have a huge internal debate with myself each time I we order as to chicken tenders or chicken fried steak. The fries and fried okra are also so freaking good and the best part is two people can get dinner from here for less than $35 dollars (mind you that is for take out so no drinks include in that price). They also allow for service animals which is awesome since Riley my Great Dane is my service animal. Some places will not let you bring in your service animal which is why I tend to get take out most of the time. The staff is wonderful, accommodating and super friendly. I almost forgot the biscuit, you get a biscuit with the two items above (probably with other items as well). They are homemade fluffy clouds of amazingness. If you want true southern food this place HAS to be your next dining destinations!

I am very upset. I received a cold waffle asked to have it warmed up brought me back a soggy waffle. This ticked me off. When she brought me the ticket I told her I would pay for the bacon and not the waffle. Manager said not to pay but don't come back. What has happened to quality and service.
