Love the Pit BBQs. Have been going to the Austin an Georgetown locations for years. The sweet potato salad is my vice.4/12/24 - The inside is open now and everything still tastes great.
Picked up ribs and brisket along with green beans, potato salad, and Mac and cheese. Brisket was over cooked and dry. Ribs were super salty (over seasoned) and not really eatable. Service was super fast and folks are very friendly! I can’t say I’ll be back. Overall, not up to Texas BBQ standards. ??. Keep trying. ?

I had gastric bypass and cannot eat much. I asked for 2 slices of brisket l asked for them a little thick because last time they were paper thin. The lady said it would be $16. I said well, not that thick. The man who cut them rudely said next time you need to come in so you can see how big they are..HE WAS RUDE AS HELL. Why would anyone want a slice that is that big..I would have said chunk!!I was ok with the misunderstanding until he got rude.VERY RUDE..POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE..DO NOT GO THEREDietary restrictions: I had gastric bypass and cannot eat much. I don't get to go to the Pit often but when I do, never disappoints. Employees are so customer service minded from my very first visit. And the food? So yum! The brisket, chopped or sliced is awesome! Go to Pit and get you some family owned Texas BBQ!
This place doesn't deserve to be in Texas, or even the south! Given the food they served me, they should be in Canada or England! Cole slaw was itty bitty bits if cabbage and carrots in an over-sugared mayo soup. Beans had way too much salt and almost no other flavor. Bbq sauce should have been called a slightly spiced pancake syrup. And the bbq beef was just blah...and the sauce couldn't fix it! Total waste of money and time.

Ordered BBQ sandwich at drive thru, got home and had two slices of bread with meat on the side. That is not the bbq sandwich!! Potato salad had to much mustard and Mac n cheese tasted left over from days ago. Don’t even get me started on banana pudding, it was nothing more than cheap instant pudding with two cheap vanilla wafers. I threw 80% of this meal in trash can. Never again!

Brisket was dry and not very good. Bbq sauce is bland. Sandwich is supposed to come with pickles and onions but did not. The worker at the drive thru window could not hide her disappointment that I did not tip at the drive through window! She was not only disappointed but her tone was downright unpleasant and rude. S__t sandwich and service was around 1:30 pm 12-14-2023.

The moist brisket and ribs were dry. Edible but dry and unenjoyable. The mac and cheese did not taste like cheese. Go to Smokey Mo or Rudy. Wasted $60 on 2lbs of dry meat.
