This veteran owned and operated spot is a go-to place, especially after church on Sundays. The fish is fried to perfection, and the service is the greatest. The TK pop up is extremely good, with lots of portion for the price. The brisket is delicious, the chicken is fabulous, and the chicken salad is to die for. Don't let the little hole in the wall fool you; it's worth the drive. The candied yams and greens are the best ever eaten, and the sarsaparilla brings back memories. They offer a taste test of everything from Smoked Turkey, Greens, Mac and cheese, fried catfish, peach cobbler wings, Smoked Fruit, and Steak, all described as so good. The food speaks for itself, with options like boudan that is light and crispy with juicy meat and melted cheese. They also offer meal preps and are only opened to dine in a few days a week.
