Mi Lupita Taco House was so good we ended up eating breakfast there two days in a row. That’s how you know it’s the real deal. I had the Migas with beans and potatoes, and every bite was fantastic. The beans were packed with flavor, and the potatoes were the perfect size — which I appreciated because huge potato chunks are a pet peeve of mine. These were just right. And the homemade flour tortillas? Absolute heaven.

The service was warm, fast, and friendly, and the whole place has that welcoming, local charm that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left. Plus, it’s conveniently located just a few doors down from The Dilworth Inn.

I highly recommend Mi Lupita Taco House. If I’m ever in Gonzales again, this will be my first breakfast stop.

The puffy tacos are great, salsa is super tasty and I liked the cheese enchiladas too. I will definitely be stopping here again...

Salsa and chips are good. Portions are realistic and not gigantic. Everything tasted good but needs more flavor.

Decent Mexican cuisine, especially in Gonzales. Food a little oiley but the puffy tacos were pretty good as were the enchiladas and chalupas. Wish they served Margaritas, but alas beer is the only option so minus a star. They ate also kind of frugal with the chips, Salsa, and tortillas. You have to push for refills of anything. Even water.

Great selection of food. Some of their dishes could use a little more flavor, but prices are excellent. Service is great. Atmosphere is good.
