1st time in. We will be back..

I will never understand why people like mi familia when El Chico is by far the best Mexican food in granbury! Everything on their menu is delicious. I’ve been going for over 10 years and I’ve never had a bad experience here! The chips and queso, fajitas and brownie skillet are to die for!!!

I do not go here often simply because I don’t eat out a lot. However, the times that I have gone there I have enjoyed it. Good variety of Mexican food. Cold drinks. A nice bar area with TVs. Also, a very large and casual dining area.Location is also convenient and easy to access.

Great wait staff and food was fresh and hot. Plus the margaritas where spot on . Sangria swirl

First time ordering here, as we were just visiting family in the area. Our order was $106.00+ through doordash. We found out after delivery that they were just across the street from the hotel. That said, or food arrived without eating utensils. No salt or pepper. No napkins. I called the restaurant directly and was told they would bring us some. I waited for a while and called back. The girl working the bar said she was too busy and to go to the front desk of the hotel and see if they had any. By the time we finally found something to eat with the food was cold, the tacos no longer crispy. In addition, we bought a large queso for over $12 and a large guacamole for over $12 but we didn't get extra chips with those. I'm furious. Who treats customers like this? We are letting our local family members know how we were treated so they don't make the same mistake we did. The food was not flavored well either so don't waste your time or money. Very rude and not customer friendly at all.

We had lunch Wednesday Jan 12 2025 and enjoyed the Wednesday Enchilada Special. Our server Jenny was very friendly and attentive. We had chips and salsa along with relish and corn tortillas while waiting for lunch. Our meals were served fairly soon after ordering. It was piping hot and delicious. Again, Jenn took great care of us and we enjoyed our lunch.

Fajitas for 2 done correctly. Food and drinks came out without much of wait at all. Daisy was very attentive and professional. Made for a good date night.

Without a plethora of options in Granbury, El Chico isn’t a bad option. They have good food and good service.

I, along with my family, had a most wonderful experience at this El Chico! We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and our waiter, Antonio did an exceptional job in catering to our needs! He was super friendly, consistently refilled our drinks, and didn't forget about us even though he was serving 4 tables, including 2 of which were groups of 5. The restaurant was clean, and our meals were delicious. Our time there ended with the lively traditional El Chico birthday song sung by a group of wait staff.
