How does anyone have the ability to stomach this overpriced greasy food served by under paid college and high school students? I ate the guacamole burger and my stomach hurt so bad from all the grease and salt, I thought I might have Salomanila poisoning. Too bad it is the ONLY burger place in Granbury Texas.

As a chain burger stand goes Grumps Burgers is number one.

Spending time with my grandsons and grabbing dinner. The burgers were great! Maybe the best Sweet Potato Fries I've had, perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft & pillowly on the inside.The BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger was really good. My only issue is that I needed more barbecue sauce. I could have easily went and asked for more but it was a long walk back. I'll remember for next time.My daughter got the Queso Burger, the smart thing is do is get the queso on the side. The queso was really good.I did try the Jalapeno Ketchup - not my favorite!The Whiffle Ball Field was great for the kids. My daughter says this place gets crowded and there can be a significant wait. Which means you have to place accordingly.I think from now on when I visit Granbury this has got to be definite visit!!!
Good stuff. They have peanuts free to begin with. Jalapeño infused bacon is pretty darn good. Had it on a cheese burger, tasty. The burger itself is was very good. Nice size patty with all the fixing. Onion rings and corn nuggets were good. Root beer was really good. But the jalapeño ketchup stole the show for me. It is pretty spicy and ketchup and just really good. Recommend.
Great place to eat. The parking lot is junk and getting out is almost impossible, but if your not in a hurry stop in. Burgers are really good. Not a ton of options, but very tasty burgers. I do not recommend the fried pickles, as there is way too much breading and it has no flavor. The fries are some of the best around.
Grumps burgers was fantastic. I actually went with students from high school (I was that one with 20 students ordering on one tab). The workers at the cashier were extremely helpful and efficient in getting our orders in, even going so far as to pull out a calculator and tally up each student's order individually so they knew if they were over or under our predetermined per student allowance.We waited for our food outside and had a fantastic time in the courtyard, shaded by the red barn at the back of the property. There is a whiffle ball field in the back, with a high fence to keep the balls in, that my students LOVED. An employee came out with about 8 little trays heaping with peanuts for the students to shell and much on while we waited for our food. It was a nice touch that they surprised us with.Our food arrived and the students dug in. I'll be honest: with a group of that size it's practically impossible to get the order perfectly right the first time. Indeed, two of our burgers were not prepared correctly and we were missing one order of fries. But that was it. We addressed it with them and they immediately corrected it, surpassing my expectations. They were very courteous with us and our large party, to the point that I will definitely be returning.Oh, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and enjoyed every bite. The chicken was cook thoroughly and juicy, not tough, and the bun and fixings were excellent.If you visit with young ones you have to make time to play at the whiffle ball field! And even without kids you'll love the outside dining area.

I travel a lot & look for the best cheeseburger in every town. This may be the best I’ve ever had. I got the queso burger with bacon. Phenomenal. They serve beer in mugs that are so cold it forms little ice chunks. Service & atmosphere fit a great burger joint! Wish I could add a 6th star!
The food was amazing! The service I wish was a little better. The cashier was kind of rude to an older lady that was in front of me, which is not okay in my book.
