Oh my lord these tamales sent me to heaven! I came here in the morning right after she opened and got a dozen pork. Super quick and friendly service. The tamales are so well made and fresh. They have an amazing taste and texture. Also be warned, the green salsa is very spicy!

I have been passing by the tamale trailer in Tolar and finally stopped to pick up a mixed dozen - brisket and jalapeno bean. So glad I stopped - by far the best tamales I have ever had! I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors!

We love Josefina’s! The food is hot, fresh and authentic and always very good. The prices are really reasonable.
Kid-friendliness: We’ve been going here for about 7-8 months. My 17 year old grandson usually goes in to order and pick up our food, and he’s always telling me how sweet they are to him. I know they must be great because 17 year olds don’t usually comment on things like that. ?I would absolutely recommend them.

These are by far the best tasting tamales I have ever had! The brisket tamales are amazing and the beans are the best i have ever had. Met the owner and she is the nicest most wonderful lady! Drove all the way from Cleburne just to try her tamales! So worth it! Will definitely be going back! Can't wait to try her enchiladas! So glad we found this place.....so worth it!
