Wonderful food and service. Love sitting outside by the lake. Great view. I love the Armadillo Eggs and the Banana Pudding is the best. Mmmm mmm mmm.

Has the best fried. Green tomatos ever and the staff is nice also.

We were in a hurry to have dinner and make it to a show on time. The service was extremely fast for us on our last visit.

This is one of our favorite go to spots in Grandbury.

Fully enjoyed lunch on the patio with the lake view, attentive service, music, and tasty brisket sandwich. Wish I'd have found this gem earlier during my short stay in Granbury. Will absolutely be back on my next visit.

Never have had a bad meal there. Update..4/24/25..was just provided with another good meal. Won't find nice sized tenders like this at cotton patch..Update. 06/10/2025. Placed an order to go..When I went in the girl said she needed to check my order that the guy that brought it from the kitchen said they only had enough for 1 serving..so I asked why did she wait until I got there to check it. 1 serving was missing so I asked for peach cobbler instead. This is the size of my serving of banana pudding. They should have kept it and not tried to sell it to me

The food is generally tasty and good value. If you want service don’t sit outside. On more than one occasion we have waited on the patio for someone to give us some service or even an acknowledgement. It’s so frustrating when it happens once but more than once….something is lacking in this area. Communication between staff or management? Eating outside is such a cool aspect of this restaurant but for some reason this happens every time we sit outside. Bummer!!!

This place has always been solid! We eat here on a regular basis. In the past I would give 5 stars. We ordered to go today and the armadillo eggs were sub par for their normal. Chicken fried steak was ground meat compressed into a patty and fried. The service is always great! I hope whatever is causing the food to deteriorate will get fixed. Maybe a new cook or manager. Hopefully this will continue to be a good to location in the future.

Four of us in the group. My ribs were undercooked, very tough with a bad BBQ sauce just laid on the top, not cooked into the ribs. Couldn't eat them. My brothers were the same. He couldn't eat them either. My sister in law ordered a brisket sandwich. They brought her just sliced brisket which was to dry and tough for her to eat. The onion rings were not cooked, onion was inedible. The cornbread was not good. The fried green tomatoes were the best thing we had. They did give about 20 percent off the meal... This was my third and last time I'll ever go there.

The waitress was so very sweet and nice! GREAT service and she was exhausted, and still was amazing! The grilled chicken was great. However, all the sides we ordered, Armadillo eggs, fried bacon, fried okra were not great at ALL. They DEFINITELY need to change the oil they fry in! It made the rest of the dinner taste horrible. Im not sure what’s going on with the oil they use to fry in…. But it wasn’t good.
