Visit to DFW and local friends said to check out Loop 9. It did not disappoint, especially for a new spot. Tried the 3 Meat combo – Brisket, Turkey, and Ribs – all three on point. Cohorts had the pulled pork too, which was also great. I tried a few sides which were a huge standout... the burnt ends queso. Holy hell some of the best queso I've ever had. Good prime brisket! Bark had a good flavor. Sides are better than most. Atmosphere can't be beat. Staff are welcoming. 4 stars for food due to the meat being kind of cold, but it was opening day.Food: 4/5
The friendliness of the staff was great. The time between ordering and receiving the food was long. The BBQ sauces are not good. My turkey and brisket were cold as soon as I received them. Unfortunately, they were already out of ribs shortly after opening. The queso was delicious. But the beans are a complete miss.
