I love lil mexico! My go to dish is the stuffed avocado with well done beef fajitas, comes with charro beans or refried and rice! Delicious!

Monterey's was a wonderful experience. The Tex-Mex dishes were fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The fajitas were sizzling, the chips and salsa were delicious, and the staff provided friendly, attentive service. Great atmosphere and a place we'll happily visit again.

You can tell the chips were stale. We had to order queso for the chips. Our food was made less than 10 minutes and you could tell it was microwaved. The queso was the only good thing food wise rice was definitely warmed up it was not made fresh. Our enchilada were hard to cut into even with a knife….. never again

I love this place what a gem where you least expect it...when they bring chips and salsa make sure you ask for the green sauce too its avocado based not spicy at all and free just got to ask .. amd speaking Cuz avocado the stuffed avocado like shrimp shrimp and fish avocado is to.die for .

Was with a group at a car show across the street so we decided to eat and cool off. Had never been here before and had no idea what to expect but we were PLEASANTLY surprised! The service was EXCELLENT, Brian brought out Ice Waters and Tea for our group as soon as we sat down without being asked. The chips and salsa never ran empty. Everyone was happy with their meals, unfortunately we were all so hungry and no one got pictures. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for good old-school Tex-Mex and definitely ask for Brian..We will be back!

It was my first time here at this restaurant I have to say the environment is really nice and peaceful. My waiter Benny was very fast and very professional an amazing service. I will be coming back in the future and recommending this place to others.

Great food and great service. This restaurant has been around for many years. Their prices are a little on the pricey side, but the food makes up for it I have been in Mexican Restaurants that were a lot more pricey with a less than quality of food or service. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Great service, great food. We've had troubles finding great Mex find here in metroplex, but someone told us about this place. It is a bit older inside, but the service and food more than make up for it. And, the green avocado sauce is REALLY good too!
