“My family and I went to TaMolly's for the first time today. We love trying out new restaurants every Sunday. My son had an incident and started choking on his food (to no fault of the food or restaurant). He stood up in front of my husband and I holding his throat, we of course instantly went into panic mode trying to help our child. The manager and 2 other servers rushed to our side as well as another visitor who was dining. The staff at TaMolly's sincerely helped a very scary situation for us and continued checking on my child throughout the rest of our dining experience. The food truly was wonderful, we will be back. When we received the check, without any expectation from us, the manager had comped our son's meal and came over to us again as we were paying. It truly brought tears to my eyes, the kindness this man showed to all of us. Thank you to everyone who was on duty today around 1PM to 2PM.“

“Best Tacos in Greenville! 5*“

“Found this little place, their tacos are okay a bit pricy for the size they are on the smaller side. Mini tacos. In my opinion their chorizo and pastor were the best. Rice was a bit burned. Great customer service and fast. Their burritos are also decent not hand made flour tortillas. They have aguas frescas which was good and on top of that their bread was pretty good as well. It was a little lonely, and a bit bummed out, because I think there use to be have more verity to the menu that was the reason we came but they no longer have the old Mexican food plates based off the previous reviews. They have a salsa bar and the condiments some of them were already old you can tell especially the lemons, relish, cucumbers, and onions. Definitely need some improvement! For 7 tacos an agua and the rice it was about $24. For 5 pieces of bread two burritos it was another $15.“

“I used to be a professional food critic, so let me give you the pros and cons of this place and the beef fajitas that I ordered to see if you want to eat here. Almost every Greenville local I've talked to says either Mariachis or El Fenix is the best in town, so let's compare Don Toro with those. Firstly, the pros. The flour tortillas here are MUCH better here than both of these spots. They're a little more doughy and have a pleasant bread chew that makes them taste way more fresh versus a spot that gets their tortillas from a distributor. The chips are the same, so I'm betting they make everything in the back. The red and green salsas are very standard, although I'll say the green salsa is very thick, which I enjoyed. However, there's one thing that keeps me from giving Don Toro five stars. The beef fajitas were different than your standard Tex-Mex spot. At Mariachis for example, the fajitas come out with a nice char, yet are still somehow tender. That's a very standard Tex-Mex flavor. But at Don Toro, I felt like I was eating thick cuts of sirloin steak that were still flavorful, but almost tough. I had to chew the beef like a cheaper cut of steak. It wasn't bad. It was just...different. I think they plop down an actual sirloin in the back and cook it like a normal steak, then cut it in thick strips and serve it. I had to cut the strips in half to eat them properly in a tortilla. So if you're a steak person, Don Toro's beef fajitas are perfect for you. But I found myself missing the thinner charred cuts that are more standard with a Tex-Mex restaurant. Overall though, the tortillas at this place are so incredible, that I would rate this better than El Fenix, but not quite as good as Mariachis. Keep that in mind if you're coming for fajitas. Thanks!“

“My friends and I came for happy hour and had the best margaritas ever! The empanadas were delicious and incredibly fresh, and the chorizo tacos were outstanding—I highly recommend them. The guacamole and chips were amazing as well. We also checked out the party room, which would be perfect for any event. We can’t wait to return!“

“We had tacos and a sopes, they were delicious! Tacos were on double stacked corn tortillas. We easily made 2 tacos out of one. The salsa was good, very tasty but beware it had heat! I had never had a sores before, it was great. I think it will be my new favorite. We loved the Wicked Taco. Stop by and try it. We will be back.“
