“Maybe my buddies and I were just very hungry from our morning drinking session, but we stopped here on our way back to the airport for gas and decided to grab a bite to "snack" on. We all ordered the Lengua, 2 each, and after we demolished them, we looked at each other and went to order another round. So much for a snack. The first go around the lengua was cooked on the griddle but the second batch wasn't. It's precooked and boiled I believed and chopped so that's how we got it the second time around. Still good but not as good as the first. Wasn't consistent and the sales verde and rojo wasn't given to us equally. Each of us had a small container of one or the other and that was it. No al pastor here but still a worthy stop for some tacos. I'm not from the area but I love me some tacos and these hit the spot for sure!“

“I have ordered takeout numerous times . Food was always good. I went in to eat last night. Very nice staff , very clean establishment. I had the avacado loaded with Frijta meat . It was delicious . I had my first Mexican coke it was delicious. I recommend the Flan it’s homemade. It taste like the ones I ate in Spain ?? I grew up there. Last night it smelled so good all the food cooking in the air. Best salsa I’ve had in a very long time. It’s definitely my personal favorite Mexican restaurant. They also make delicious chicken quesadillas. I haven’t had anything that wasn’t hot , fresh , delicious. I don’t know if they have a liquor license I really don’t care. I come to eat not to get drunk and drive .“

“Definitely has to be the best taco I've had in a very long time all the Mexican places up in this area suck I would give the other star but they definitely have to put a sign up to specify that they're open was very vague if they were open or not and investing a little bit of money in the actual restaurant itself would be nice to see“

“Tucked in the row of buildings along Commerce. Easy to miss but worth the stop! Legit good local coffee shop. Friendly staff. The latte was excellent and the large blueberry muffin hit the spot. I feel bad for people who go the McDonald's 200 yds away because they didn't venture off Hwy 80 to experience local businesses. This coffee is way better!“

Tacos el vaquero Tacos • $
Quinlan

“First time to Vaquero's Cafe & Cantina in Steiner Ranch, celebrating a family birthday during happy hour. Enrique was our man behind the bar, and he did a fantastic job! Thank you Sir! Happy hour is a pretty good deal, $7 house margaritas and 1/2 price appetizers. The margaritas were good. The last one we shared was the Volcanrita, a frozen top-shelf margarita (after HH) add that was the best one of the evening! The food was good too... the complimentary chips came with salsa and creamy jalapeno sauce, both were very good. We added an order of the queso supremo (queso loaded with refried beans guacamole, crema, pico de gallo and cotija cheese, and we added ground beef), and that was good as well. Food, round two, was jalapeno poppers. The poppers were served piping hot (perfect) with chipotle crema. Very tasty! Next up chicken taquitos... stuffed with cheese as well, and served with regular queso, pico and sour cream. We did not care for the regular queso, the queso supremo was better. Overall, the taquitos were a good choice, also served piping hot, and very tasty. We were not as excited about the botana nachos which came out next. First, not really nachos, think tostada, cut into quarters. We added beef. They arrived bit over cooked. The beef was good, and the dish came with the usual suspects, lettuce, pico, guacamole, sliced jalapenos, sour cream. Overall, Vaquero's was good! New place, new building, all nice and shiny. The decor is pretty cool! Service rocked, food was decent. A solid 4-star performance. We'll likely go back and try some non-happy hour fare. We watched a lot of that coming out of the kitchen, it looked very good, and smelled even better! Recommend Vaquero's... Sorry not more pictures, folks coming and going for almost three hours, forgot about the pics! LOL“

“Great food for good prices. The restaurant is family owned and operated. You can really feel the love they have for what they do. They make you feel like family. The food at Silvia's is delicious. “We love this place! Definitely not the place to go if you are in a hurry, but they have very good food and do give generous portions for a good price. It does take a little bit to get your food because they make everything fresh. I love their fresh tortilla chips topped with crema and cheese. Some of the sauces are spicy with their breakfast dishes, but everything we have tried has been good. You can't go wrong here with the food!“

“Always fast, always accurate, and consistent food quality makes the Taco Bell seriously one of the best places to eat in Quinlan!I've been to this location dozens of times over the past year and I've always gotten exactly what I ordered and exactly what I expected. That being said, it is Taco Bell - fast food at lower prices so don't expect a gourmet experience. But compared with other Taco Bells and even other fast food places in Quinlan, this location is amazing!“
