The waiter who helped us was very hard working. He seemed to care a lot more than the ladies from the other night. Maybe they were just tired. ? it was late. So my rating went up ?

Our first impression was that at walking in the tables were not picked up, yet there was like four young ladies standing around.
They told us to choose a table and we had to choose a dirty one and wait.

The service was good, our waitress kept checking on us throughout our time there.

As far as the food my daughter ordered the flautas plate And she got two flautas cut up, she said one more would have been perfect.

I ordered Caldo de Res, to be honest, I was really looking forward to it. But it seemed like I got the bottom of the pot. Half of the potato that was coming undone, two pieces of cabbage, one a very small carrot, and a small corn.I was not satisfied. The bowl was small, and only half filled, I even made a comment that it was probably the last bit of soup in the pot. For $12.99, I would have wish they would’ve been honest with me and I would’ve picked something else. I’m wanting to try the soup again and hopefully this is not the way it always is. I’m looking forward to more vegetables and fresh soup.

One thing I noticed was that the tables were not getting cleaned up, people were walking in and then the waitresses would go and clean their tables. I think tables should get cleaned up right away whether they are customers or not. When I walked in. I kind of felt like it wasn’t a very clean place, because of that.

I will definitely try it again because it has been recommended, but I hope to see some kind of change.“

“Food was delicious!!! The parrillada plate is the BEST, it was bacon wrapped shrimp! And the margaritas actually have a decent amount of tequila in them not like the watered down ones at most restaurants we’ve been to in town. We will definitely be back!“

“When I first walked into the Tex Mex in Anna for the first time after it opened, the first person to speak to me was Abigail. Not only did she take my order, but she greeted me warmly and listened as I told her about my day. Fast forward to today, 10/2024, she is still making us all feel at home with her kindness, regardless if she is waiting on my table or not. My husband and I were back again tonight for dinner, and Torchys was the place to be! It was pretty busy! The staff didn't skip a beat! They were busting their butts! Danny was there again helping anywhere and everywhere he could. Amy assisted us a few times and was extremely kind and friendly! She's the best! There was another lady (who looked like Amy, lol) that was working her behind off as well! All of the staff were busting their behinds! It was really awesome to see! All of them helping out whenever needed, all while keeping a smile on their faces and asking every table if they needed anything. Keep up the good work! Y'all are KILLING it! ???“

“This year for Homecoming it was important to my daughter and her friends to include everyone. This would include those who may need a group to go with as Homecoming day came near. With that came the challenge of finding a restaurant who would be both understanding to a large group of highschoolers and the need to add to the table count. Petra, the owner and staff rose to the occasion. They did not hesitate to say yes. They were wonderful to our kids and delivered excellent customer service. They even volunteered to take their pictures under the gazebo after dinner. -To say thank you is simply not enough. You were wonderful to them and were a very big part in making this day and memory special for them. THANK YOU!“

“A nice little hole in the wall with some tasty food.
My burrito had a nice flavor, stuffed to the brim to where it fell apart. I will say I asked for no tomato but from the photo, there was a big chunk of it inside.
My family enjoyed their chicken tacos and enchiladas. The elote had just a tad too much mayo throughout. The drink selection wasn't much, I ended up with water.

The Service was nice and friendly. There seems to be only two servers at night, and the rush was a lot. They got everything out one by one, but in a timely manner.

The parking is pretty bad though. We parked across the street at the pawn shop.

“Lived here for over 3yrs and finally tried this place ...it didn't disappoint.I tried the Barbocoa Bowl, Husband had Chicken bowl. We took our teenagers an order of Nachos and and a Quesadilla. Everything was fresh and tasty. Tortillas were made fresh in front of you. The two gentlemen behind the counter were quick and gave us great customer service (something hard to find these days). We will be back!“
