21 Best Mexican Restaurants in Allen

“I dined at Mi Cocina yesterday and it was a wonderful time. Amber was our server and she was efficient and friendly. We enjoyed our food very much. The atmosphere was pleasant and we never felt rushed. I will go again and hope Amber will be my waitress.“

“Great food and service along with reasonable prices“

“Amazing!!!!!!! Our new favorite place to eat!“

“Very good Tex-Mex. Table side guacamole 🥑🥑 yummy. Chicken enchiladas were filled with well seasoned chicken - a little heavy on the cream sauce topping for me, but others might prefer it. Happy Hour margaritas were awesome 👍😎 If you get the opportunity to try out this local greatness, you will not be disappointed!“

“Torchys is one of my favorite places to eat. The environment and food are both so amazing. Prices are nothing crazy at all. I love it.“

“One of the best tex-mex hands down! This place has all 3Bs - best price, best service, best food. I loved the fajitas and pollo w/mushrooms - BTW with big portions. They served the food under less than 10 minutes and they constantly asked us if everything was right. They do really care about the customers. I'll come back more often.“

“Its a small family spot
Not a lot of tables and casual decor.
I went with the basics lol
Tortilla soup and a chicken taco.
Nice presentation and the flavors in the soup were awesome. The taco was very tasty too. The salsa had a ton of flavor and I REALLY enjoyed everything
I just wish I had had company so I could have tried several more dishes
If you are looking for a spending very reasonable amount and some excellent food I highly recommend
I didn't check the hours, but they have breakfast lunch and dinner with lots of options“

“Always great food here, especially for a fast-food restaurant! The service is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The tortillas are delicious and really make the food stand out. Definitely a great spot when you want something quick without sacrificing quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Newbie at the bar “Braden” was awesome in helping me with an order I’m going to place for Saturday. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Offered many options. Truly an asset to your restaurant!!!!!“

“Wonderful service! Haven’t had a waitress that seemed to care in a long time! The food was great and service was even better! Thank you for making my birthday lunch a wonderful experience!“

“Me and my husband came to visit for the first time , service was great , quick , very attentive and the food was amazing and great drinks“

“I rate this place one of the best mexican restaurant in the area. Very authentic with quality food. I try to go every Saturday morning for breakfast tacos after my workout. Atmosphere is great and the people working there are even better than that.“

“We’ve been regular customers at the Allen location for a while now, and every single visit has been amazing. The food is always incredibly fresh, authentic, and consistently delicious. Recently, we had El Volcan Taqueria cater lunch for our company at two different locations, and I can honestly say I don’t think we’ve ever impressed our staff with food the way we did today! The taco bar was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The food variety of salsas was incredible, and the grilled peppers and onions were the perfect finishing touch. What really set the experience apart was the service. The owner and his wife personally delivered the food, set everything up, and made sure everything was perfect. 10/10 recommend. ¡Muchísimas gracias por su dedicación, hospitalidad y por hacernos sentir como en casa!“

“We had a baby celebration at Matt’s in Allen and it was a great experience! Communication with Ericka to schedule and plan the event was easy. The banquet room was perfect, allowing everyone to sit and eat or get up to walk around and visit. We chose the “Munchies Feast” buffet and it was plenty of food. Open tab for beer and margaritas. Our server, Luis, was fabulous- attentive and responsive. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, and our guests had a wonderful time! 👏🏻🎉🎊😀“

“Love El Pollo Loco ! Great food“

“Menudo and tacos were good. This was our trip! We support our local restaurant!“

“Joshua was great but Madeleine was very rude. My wife asked for double meat but our total was rang up as extra meat +extra meat for 4.80 extra. I said why is it on the twice and they said it was four scoops. My wife didn't ask for that so I said either take it off or remake it at the price we understood. Joshua was remaking it asked what was wrong with the first one and was astounded that they wouldn't have resolved it by just removing one of the charges and comping the other one. He walked back down to ask and Madeline took the other bowl to the back of the restaurant instead of just tossing it in the trash. It was all very weird but Madeline was a constant source of conflict and rudeness. My wife had to wait to have them remake food while my family had already started eating. Joshua: 5 stars Madeline: could use some work 1“

“I ordered lunch today for our school group. It was a large order of 70 tacos and nearly 70 more burritos and we received incredible service! Not only was the order accurate, but the staff included napkins, hot sauce and plates for the group and even noticed that I drove up and rolled out my completed order to my vehicle to load before I even opened my car door. It was wonderful to work with Taco Casa. The portions are generous and the food is always delicious. Amazing service was the cherry on top today!“

“An excellent Mexican restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and delicious food! The tacos, burritos, and nachos are prepared perfectly, the portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. It’s a wonderful spot for meeting up with friends or having a family dinner. I will definitely be back!“

“This is the best Taco Bell in the area. There is the occasional mistake but the quality of the food is higher than other locations. They also consistently have the limited time options unlike other locations. Regardless of whether it’s noon or midnight, I drive a little further to this location to have a better experience“
