“I had a surprise lunch for my mother's 70th birthday at Uncle Julio's in Allen today and the manager and staff were absolutely fantastic. I had reserved an area for about 30 people with the manager Kevin Moore a few weeks ago. He asked for things she liked and flowers and when we arrived to set up he had flowers and a gift waiting. It was so beautiful and sweet of them to do that for my mom. The servers Roman and Adam were so attentive and were able to handle our group's needs and there were no issues. They even let us know when she was walking in. The food was amazing too and everyone was raving about their food. We all had a wonderful experience and I will go back often. They helped create wonderful memories and I am very grateful for all they did for my mom. If you have a special event, I would recommend Uncle Julio's in Allen! They will take care of you like family! Thank you!“
“Drinks weren't mixed well & slow to arrive. Food was way under seasoned... like no salt. Our food was pretty much cold when it arrived on the table. No steam coming from the fajita plate kind of cold- cheese melted into a goop onto the tacos. Was not good.We waited over 30 min for our table. Expected better for that kind of wait.Kid-friendliness: Gave free ice cream to my kids.“
“we have a group of about 8 who dine out together regularly. we used to go to another restaurant in Allen until we discovered Salsa! The place that used to be there was terrible, but Salsa is terrific. Our waiter, last time, was not good, but the food is consistently delicious. We go at least twice a month and have yet to have a bad meal. The chicken enchiladas and quesabirria tacos are winners! The warm black bean dip is the bomb.“
“The restaurant is in a good location, at corner lot!And the restaurant environment is friendly, very comfortable.The waiters are very efficient and also quick. They stop by out table to check on us very frequent , we appreciate that.The food is of high quality.Parking: We park right in front of the restaurant, very convenient and close to the restaurant.“
“I cannot recommend this place enough and the fact that it’s been right in front of me makes me upset I didn’t come across it sooner! The staff is so nice and the food is just amazing. My husband and I are working our way through the menu at the moment and have not been disappointed. They have everything from caldos, tortas, tacos and even helados which just brings me back to home. “My wife and I were on the road and hungry - I swear an angel guided us into this spot. The portions, the quality of the food, and the friendliness here was so top notch. I got a taco plate and the spicy quesadillas. My god man… I am so sad that I finished my meal and can’t wait to come back and do this all over again. I wish I took pictures of the food but when it came out I was so ravenously hungry that I eradicated every morsel of food from my plate. You could have been convinced I cleaned that plate with soap and a sponge tbh.10/10 great food.“

“This is place feels like authentic Mexican food. I’ve heard this place is great to come for breakfast but I was here for dinner. The place was clean and Prices were reasonable. I got the carne asada taco plate. The tacos were good, the meat was well cooked and had a lot of flavor. My only gripe is the portion size, 1 taco plate was not enough to fill me. My friend got a burrito and that seemed to be the bigger bang for your buck.The sauces they had laid on the table were all good, especially the one in the yellow bottle.If I ever come back for breakfast, I’ll update my review. I can see the tacos hitting great in the morning.The service was great.“

“File this under best kept secret in the area. Great tacos and quesadillas. Weekdays is largely blue collar Hispanic workers which I take as a cue that the food is legit. Great people. I just wish more locals knew about it. The workers earn the business.“
“I had the Chili Releno. It was very good. It was actually crispy. The refried beans were not great. The salsa was good. Portions were good sized. Sopapias were not great either.Service was not great. We had to wait a lot and we were the only ones I the restaurant. It was the best mex food I've had in a long while.“
“So the food was good. The waitress was really great. She is a teacher and had 2 other jobs besides this one. Teacher salary that's why the other jobs. She was a great waitress didnai say that already. She can definitely teach others how to be a waiter or waitress for sure. The kids meal was really big. Ask fir chicken nuggets for the grandson and it was a big plate for a kids meal. Definitely recommend thus place.Kid-friendliness: Big kids meal. Chicken nuggets was like chicken strip they where big.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem with handicap parking.“

I appreciate a server who does a great job, and he handled our table of 5 adults and 1 child with a perfect display of relaxed competence. Well done Nicholas !!!
