“Best service I have received at this Whataburger since I moved to Gun, Barrel City, Deesha, I believe her name is the young lady at the drive-through. She might be the friendliest person I’ve dealt with since I’ve moved here, hard-working fast, and she had a smile on her face the entire time everything was great. I think she might be running it by her self tonight. Well done young lady and hopefully management will bring more people like you in. Thanks for the great service and food.“
“I went through the drive thru. I ordered my food, the young lady taking my order repeated it back to me. She got some items incorrect, but told me that she meant to say the correct item.I repeated what I ordered, she stated that is what she has.When I pulled up to the window and she handed me the bag, it felt light. I asked her if specific items and count were in there, she confirmed.Well, I ordered 4 hashbrowns and only had 1.Always open your bag and verify that your entire order is correct.Other than this, the food was good.“

“No drive-thru drama or breakfast brunch blues. We picked up our food promptly at noon. The fries didn't make it to the house, but that's okay. The fries are always cold when we get home anyway. This Burger King will make them fresh if you ask them to though, so that's a plus.It's directly in the middle of Gun Barrel, so a quick "in and out" if you gotta get some place fast.“
“Best lunch spot in east Texas! Great SW BBQ head chef plus family passed down true to Texas recipes equals food that I’m still daily dreaming about since I visited. The egg rolls! I heard angels singing!! The burnt ends, normally I find burnt ends way too fatty for my liking but these were cooked to a delicious perfection! And the smoke ring in every meat we had on the table was immaculate! I really don’t have enough kind words about my experience here. And yes it was an experience! The owner himself came out to meet and greet us while we enjoyed our feast, what a delightful, respectful and smart man he is. We talked about his trek to pit master, the amazing flavors in the recipes he is creating and how getting the buzz going out there for a must stop destination, my words- it is true!- is so hard to do, especially when most of the day is spent creating this menu that has me truly excited for! I’m so grateful that I found a true destination must go to BBQ place..if you are in East Texas, make a trip here. I promise that you will be thanking me. “They have great hamburgers and cheese burgers. fries are good too!We been going there 4+ years and the food is consistently good. It is always clean but the ambience is what you make of it. We usually go off hours when it isn't normal lunch hours.“
“This place is the best food ever!! Great service too! Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is cuz of thier hours!! They close way to early and they aren't open on Sundays. “JR makes the best blizzards. Every time I go he knows exactly who I am and he makes visually good looking and tasty blizzards. You can tell he cares about what he’s presenting to you. I heard them get onto him for making my pumpkin pie blizzard look like an actual pie with the crust but he deserves a raise for the extra attention he gives.“
“Was staying in this area for work and saw this pop up on door dash. Ordered the double royal with cheese and it was really good! Fries were covered in cheese sauce which was really good. Food was well packed and delivered hot. Will definitely order again next time I'm in the area.“
“New owner "Phill" and his newly hired/trainded staff are turning this place around. When the new sign is erected, the new Menu will come out. In the meantime, the burgers have gotten 300% better and fresher tasting than that in the past by the previous owner. Phil does update posting on Facebook..but should also join Nextdoor...as many folks in Middleton refuse to do anything with Facebook.“
