Every time I come into Black Bear, Marcus greets us with the biggest smile—a smile that can brighten up the whole room with his positive, bubbly attitude. He’s incredibly kind, has a great sense of humor, and is so approachable—he truly makes you feel like family, not just a customer. Saturday morning so they were busy, but got a table pretty quick. Food came out quickly. Look at those biscuits!!! Pancakes were good. Sausage and bacon were good. Burned my ham and hasbrowns. Stuck the ham under everything to hide it. Way to much food. Left most of it behind. Loud and busy restaurant so talking was difficult.

This has become our comfort place to go when visiting the Killeen/harker heights area. While service has been hit or miss for us, the food is always delicious! The biscuits are as big as your head
