Breadsmith Harlingen is a restaurant known for its delicious and fresh bread, including sourdough, ciabatta, and rustic Italian varieties. They also offer pastries, cookies, and unique options like a carrot cake loaf. Customers can purchase bread whole or sliced, and their croissants are highly praised. The restaurant is clean, and staff like Ida are known for being helpful and kind. It is a popular spot for regular customers seeking bread for sandwiches or toasting with cheese or avocado. Downloading their app can provide points and freebies for visitors.
Recent reviews mention the variety of bread and the good service when ordering ahead, with customers appreciating the quick and friendly checkout process. However, some have experienced poor service, with one customer feeling unwelcome due to rude behavior from an employee, and another noting that service can vary. The smell of coffee and the quality of baked goods like the chocolate chip cookie are also enjoyed by visitors. Overall, Breadsmith Harlingen remains a place where customers can find fresh bread, but experiences with staff may differ.
