We waited an hour for horrible bland food. We were ignored in an almost empty restaurant and their excuse was "confusion with the wait staff". The food was all covered in powdered sugar, which was a flavor replacement because everything was tasteless. The "eggs" had some sort of filler in them to make them less like eggs and more like slimey clumps of egg looking batter. I can only assume it was pancake batter.
The wait staff completely ignored us like we weren't worth serving. So rude and unorganized. Be warned, this place has no pride in their food, work ethic, or customer service. The very basics, if you ask me.

The food and atmosphere were both amazing and comforting. I got the Honey Chipotle Chicken and Waffles and they were honestly the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend for breakfast and brunch!!

Excellent for breakfast and brunch. We had Southern Breakfast for two but actually feeds three if you simply order and extra individual bowl of eggs and sausage. Short wait but not bad. Good service. Coffee could have been better but overall good as well.

This is place is good make sure you read the menu properly that way you know what you will order, don’t expect large portions. This place is great if you want to chismear with your friends or family. The service and environment is top notch.

Always enjoy eating here. The food is always delicious no matter what I order and the service is impeccable. Nice, cozy and quiet place to eat and the coffee is amazing here for dessert! Love their chicken fried chicken plate with scallop potatoes, green beans and corn. People who complain about the prices need to stick to McDonald’s dollar menu or something and they can eat that cheap low quality food. I’d rather have a homemade meal that really fills you up and tastes amazing with a touch of home away from home.

Atmosphere was cute and inviting. Food took a very long time. There was plates on table as decor that were just in the way. No salt, pepper, coffee creamer or sweeteners on table.

The turkey plate was VERY good, especially the stuffing...some of the best I've ever had! All good regarding the food. The service was a bit lacking. We could tell the waitress didnt like that we asked our table be wiped down. It was dirty and it was 1 of 2 tables available and the other seemed to be used by employees to place their belongings and drinks. We felt rushed even though it was an hour before closing time. All in all, a different server experience would change my rating significantly....and the turkey plate is definitely worth going back.

There are lots of places to eat out when stopping in Harlingen, but when finding Chyann’s I found this small slice of hospitality, reminded me of home. The coffee is nice, the food is amazing with the smell making my knees jump with excitement, and the serving staff made me feel so welcomed! I’d stop by for chicken and waffles and their breakfast sandwiches!
